What I love most about this neighbourhood is the perfect balance it strikes. While we are just minutes from the hustle and bustle of Downtown Kingston and the 401, the immediate area feels like a peaceful retreat.
The highlight for me is definitely the 4.3 km Greenwood Park Loop Trail that sits right in our backyard. It is a beautiful, year-round path where you’ll see locals walking their dogs, joggers enjoying the fresh air, and families heading to the nearby parks and soccer fields. It’s the kind of place where people still wave hello as they pass.
I also love the convenience of the Waaban Crossing; it has completely changed how we experience the city, making it so easy to pop over to the downtown waterfront or the Cataraqui Town Centre without the stress of a long commute. Whether you are watching the sunset over the nearby bay or grabbing a coffee at a local shop, there is a sense of community here that makes you feel at home the moment you arrive.
