Dune Views is a sunny, quirky kiwi bach providing fantastic easy holiday living all year round. It affords estuary and sand dune views from almost every room and close access to the water from the beach immediately across the road. In winter, the cosy sunken lounge with wood burner is a great place to chill out with family and friends.
Inside, this bach comfortably accommodates a family or two featuring 3 bedrooms - one with a King, one with a Queen, and the third with a Queen and Single Bunk Set - along with 2 bathrooms. The outdoor entertainment area is private from the road but maintains sea views looking across the estuary to the biggest of the sand dunes. The large deck flows from the living area and has a 4 burner hooded BBQ, large portable sun umbrella and a dining area which can accommodate 8 plus extremely comfortable outdoor sofas to while away your time. It is a perfect spot to soak up the sun or watch one of the many stunning sunsets. The property is not fully fenced but offers plenty of outdoor space for kids to play.
For indoor entertainment there is a Smart TV in the main living area (BYO logins) and the downstairs bedroom has a wall-mounted TV with Apple TV and a DVD player with a good selection of DVDs. There is also a selection of board games and books to keep the family entertained.
This is the perfect spot if you are into kite surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, etc and is a very safe place for children to swim or adventure on the estuary when the tide is out. There is access to walking tracks in close proximity to the house and it is a 20-25 minute walk to the Mangawhai Activity Zone, Golf Course and Wood St shops.

1. Small to medium dogs may be permitted on enquiry.
2. Although this property has 2 hot water cylinders, they are both relatively small, so care should be taken with hot water use to ensure everyone gets a hot shower.

The clear waters of the estuary provide safe family swimming, and the secluded white sand beaches of Pacific Beach, Te Arai, Pakiri and Langs are a short drive away.
Enjoy the vibrant art and cafe scene, local farmers market and the famous Bennetts Chocolate Shop. Soak up the natural beauty of this slice of coastal paradise, beachcombing, bush walking or just relaxing in a comfy chair with a glass of something cool.
LINEN OPTIONS: To keep your holiday more affordable, for this property we offer linen as an optional extra for guests who prefer to bring their own. If you choose to bring your own linen, you will need to supply top and bottom sheets, pillowcases, towels and bath mats. Pillows, Duvets and Duvet covers will be provided.
Alternatively, a rental linen package is available for $25 per person. To request this service, please add a note to your booking specifying the number of people requiring linen and which beds you would like prepared.
