Wonderful, charming Oceanside, with many private decks for languishing and taking in the magical views. Lovely host, Sophia welcomes guests like family, so kind and generous with her home. The island is gorgeous and many hikes, swims, towns to explore.

Spectacular location

Sophia goes above and beyond to create a very welcoming environment. The layout of the rooms is somewhat unconventional, but who needs to stay inside with all Gibsons has to offer.

Incredible property with Ocean front view / access

This is a spectacular property and place to stay with breathtaking views, your own private balcony and serene nature landscape with access to the beach. The property is also within minutes drive or walkable to the marina area where there are fantastic restaurants and a charming small town to enjoy. Sophia was a wonderful host, super helpful and welcoming. Thank you for your warm hospitality :)

A Hidden Gem – Peaceful, Beautiful, and Truly Special! Staying at Sofia’s bed and breakfast was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, Sofia made us feel completely at home with her warm and welcoming hospitality. She’s not only incredibly accommodating, but genuinely cares about making each guest’s stay special. The house itself is perched in a stunning location with absolutely breathtaking views. It’s the only property in the area with direct access to a secluded beach, which made for peaceful morning walks and unforgettable sunsets. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with over 200 rose bushes in bloom—truly a sight (and scent!) to experience. There’s also a lovely little vegetable garden that adds to the charm and freshness of the stay. Adding to the homely atmosphere are the two resident pets—a sweet dog and a very friendly cat—who are always around for a cuddle or a bit of company. If you’re looking for a tranquil getaway with natural beauty, warm hospitality, and a touch of magic, look no further than Sofia’s place. It’s a rare find that I can’t recommend enough. We can’t wait to come back!

Hi, I’m Sophia. I’m a retired mechanical engineer who now spends most of my days happily in the garden, where I grow several hundred rose bushes in every colour imaginable. Watching them bloom each season never gets old, and I love sharing the view and the fresh blooms with our guests.

After years in engineering, I bring the same care and attention to detail to hosting. I like things to run smoothly, so your space will always be clean, well prepared, and thoughtfully set up before you arrive.

I host together with my daughter, and we genuinely enjoy meeting people from all over the world. We’re warm and welcoming but also respect your privacy, so you’ll always have your own space and the freedom to relax on your own terms. Wake to the sound of the waves on Gibsons’ beautiful waterfront. Just minutes from Gibsons Marina and the ferry, this oceanfront home blends complete tranquility with easy access to everything the Sunshine Coast offers, from seaside strolls and harbour dining to unforgettable sunsets over the water.

Your guest room sits on a dedicated guest level with its own entrance, fully separate from the hosts’ floor, so you can come and go freely and never cross paths with us. The level offers two private rooms, each rented separately, sharing a guest entrance and a common kitchenette in a friendly B&B style setup. Every room faces south toward Georgia Beach with ocean views, and has its own private bathroom for exclusive use, just across the hallway.

Step out to private beach access, or relax on one of several patios over the water. The kitchenette has a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and egg cooker, ideal for light meals (no stovetop). We also keep the fridge stocked with fresh breakfast staples like local milk and bread, ready for a relaxed self serve breakfast whenever you wake.
