Capitol Hill is one of Seattle’s most lively and walkable neighborhoods, full of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, parks, and city energy. It is a dense urban area, and weekends and holidays can feel especially active. Like many city neighborhoods, you may see some homelessness or public intoxication nearby. If the windows are open, you may also hear normal city sounds, but inside the apartment the space is generally quiet and serene.

Twilight Terrace is located in a secure building with mostly full-time residents, so it’s a good fit for guests who appreciate a peaceful home base while staying in the heart of the city. We kindly ask guests to be respectful of neighbors and mindful of building rules so everyone can enjoy a comfortable stay. While the unit itself feels calm and tucked away, you may occasionally notice hallway sounds, cooking smells, or the scent of marijuana in shared areas, as cannabis is legal in Washington.

Getting here is usually easy, and public transportation from the airport is readily available. Once you arrive, many guests find it easiest to explore by foot, transit, or rideshare. We do offer a secured parking space, though it is best suited for very compact cars and can be a bit tight to access. If that does not work for your vehicle, we can provide a City of Seattle street parking permit. Street parking can take a little patience and may require a short walk, and there is also a nearby self-pay lot for added convenience.

The apartment includes a portable heating and cooling unit, along with fans for added comfort. On warmer days, keeping the shades down and windows closed helps keep the space cool, while cooler evenings often bring a nice cross breeze.

Please note that unauthorized pets are not allowed, and smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the unit or in common areas.

It is also especially convenient for guests coming to Seattle for work, medical visits, or extended stays. With nearby access to hospitals, Amazon HQ, dining, parks, and public transportation, guests can stay close to what they need without giving up comfort or privacy. Assigned parking, high-speed Wi-Fi, and access to shared laundry and a gym add even more ease.
