Wonderful Property

The house was exactly how it was described, clean and all the amenities we needed. Location was ideal for everything, beach, food, etc. The golf cart and pool were awesome to have! We paid to have pool heated (April), totally worth it. Family of 5 stayed, we would definitely come back again!

Exceptional location for a week at the beach!

This house is exceptional in its location and amenities! The golf cart made it a less than 2 minute trip to the beach. The beach was not crowded and allowed us some quieter mornings by the ocean. The pool was a perfect size, well maintained, and a welcome respite in the afternoon. The main living area was comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy breakfasts and evenings we stayed in. Would stay here again and definitely recommend our hosts who were quick to respond and helpful throughout the stay!

Perfect Fall Break

This was our first time staying at Panama City Beach, and this home did not disappoint. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 kids ages 1-12. The location was perfect. It was just a quick walk to the beach and away from high rises so the beach was never crowded. The 6 seater golf cart was a huge perk. We used it every day. The heated pool was a game changer. The temps dipped down during our stay and having the heated pool kept the kids entertained for hours. We especially liked the splash pad area on the shallow end for our toddler. It allowed her to play in the pool without having to be held the whole time. The kids also enjoyed the Wii console and games. We can't say enough good things about our host. She was so responsive when we had questions or needed something. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back in the future!

PCB Getaway

Erica was an incredible host and her rental was perfect for our needs. Our family enjoyed the pool and beautifully landscaped back yard which had plenty of seating. The golf cart offered plenty of room for rides to The Carousel and Thomas Donuts! The home has plenty of thoughtful touches that make you feel right at home and so comfortable & relaxed. The location is 1 block off of Front Beach Rd and has easy beach access. I highly recommend this home and would 109% return!

Wonderful, Relaxing Vacation

What a wonderful stay!! House was in a great location, easy to walk to the beach (or use the golf cart) and the pool was fabulous! Owner is easy to work with and communicated well. This was a much needed relaxing vacation after moving our youngest son off to college (First Empty Nestor's Trip Lol). Kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, full size drip coffee maker, plenty of towels in the bathrooms, beach towels available, beach chairs and umbrella available. We LOVED the pool - that was our favorite part! Easy to walk right out the back door and get into the pool with plenty of lounge chairs and sitting chairs. The grill was a nice touch since my husband grills most evenings. You will love this beautiful rental home and the quiet yet convenient location.

Great for Relaxing

We had a wonderful stay in the Sandpiper Cottage. (Our group included my hubby and I as well as our two college aged kids). There was plenty of space for everyone in the home. The kitchen was big enough for several of us to be in there preparing food at one time and there was plenty of space for dining as well. The kitchen had all the dish ware, pots, pans and utensils that we needed. The living room bedrooms were well furnished and the beds were very comfy. The house was very clean! I am extremely picky about cleanliness and am uncomfortable if a home we stay at is not as clean as I would like it to be. No issues with that here! The pool was wonderful! We used it a lot the week we were there because it was a red flag or double red flag in the gulf every day of our stay. The lights were great for night time swimming! The grill was nice to have available-we cooked a couple of meals on it. The golf cart made getting to the beach so very easy! We would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to stay on the quieter end of PCB.

Great getaway

We were thrilled with our stay- the property suited our needs perfectly! We used the golf cart to get to the beach and then also enjoyed the private pool. So close to everything we wanted to do and places to eat and yet not crazy commercialized and wild. We hope to come again!

Very Accomodating

Nice little beach house. Loved the pool, we had it heated in October, as some days were a little chilly. Golf cart and proximity to the uncrowded beach are outstanding. The owners are very kind to provide most everything you might need for the stay. It was wonderful in this way. The owners were accommodating for a special request for an extra charge. We tried to leave this home better than we found it. This trip was for mom, dad, kids (8 and 10), along with grandparents, All loved this area. Close to donuts in the morning, quaint neighborhood grocery store in the afternoon and ice cream in the evening. Sleepy, quiet little community just far enough to make a short visit to busy PCB area and then back to retreat. The only thing I might recommend based upon personal preference is a new mattress for the primary; it drops off on one side as if someone bigger has spent a lot of time sitting on the side of the bed. My wife said her side was fine.). I would still very much recommend this property.

Wonderful Thanksgiving Week

My family came down to get away for Thanksgiving break. This little house was wonderful. We had everything we needed and more.y kids loved the heated pool and we all loved the golf cart. It was so easy to get to the beach (you can easily walk but the golf cart made it even easier). We loved this place and will be back in the future!

Hi we are Erica and John, the owners of Sandpiper Cottage at Laguna Beach. We are 2 college biology professors and parents of 5 children. In addition to having 3 biological children, we have grown our family through foster care. We love spending time together at the beach, hiking, swimming, biking, and anything else that puts us out in nature.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We were searching for a house big enough for our family that we could stay in a few times per year (during our breaks from teaching). Once per year visits to the beach was just not enough! We fell in love with Laguna Beach because the neighborhood feels so quiet and private and yet it is just minutes from anything you could ever want to do. There aren't any high-rise condos or hotels in this area, so the beach is much less crowded than other areas in Panama City Beach. Much of the beachfront in Laguna Beach is undeveloped and zoned to stay that way to protect the beautiful natural dunes. Being biology professors conservation is important to us and having an area where we can see natural coastal species of birds and plants just steps from our door has been amazing. We love Pier Park for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Heading west on 30A is a whole world of experiences waiting for us. We can enjoy the French architecture in Rosemary Beach with dinner at La Cocina or Pizza by the Sea and then walk down by the Pearl Hotel to see the breathtaking views. Or we can take in the beauty of Alys Beach architecture modeled after that found in the Bahamas on our way to Seaside. Seaside is fun, laid back kind of beach town. It is an amazing place to rent a bike and explore. The beach access is open to the public and there are limitless dining opportunities awaiting us from the Taco Bar, to Barefoot BBQ, or the "best burger on 30A" at Pickles. Being gluten free and vegan Raw and Juicy and Taco Bar are my favorites! We can head to Topsail for hiking and more natural dunes and public beach access or to Saint Andrew's for the protected jetty. From St. Andrew's we can take a ferry to Shell Island, which is a 7-mile long island of protected natural beach for shelling, snorkeling, and just plain relaxing. For us, we are always counting down the days until our next trip because there is so much we cannot wait to do.
