Willkommen auf dieser zweistöckigen Wohnhaus mit einer großen Terrasse an der Vorderseite des Hauses auf der zweiten Etage - ein großartiger Ort, um im Freien speisen. Die erste Etage bietet einen offenen Grundriss für den gemeinsamen Wohnbereich - Wohnzimmer mit einem 47-Zoll-Flachbildschirm-TV, einen Essbereich mit einer Glasplatte Bistrotisch und vier Stühle, und eine Pantry-Küche mit Theke und drei Barhocker für Grabbing Frühstück oder den Koch Firma zu halten. Es gibt auch zwei Schlafzimmer und ein Bad im ersten Stock. Jedes Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queensize- und zwei Einzelbetten. Das Bad verfügt über 2 Türen, so dass die Gäste im Schlafzimmer 2 nicht durch Schlafzimmer gehen müssen 1 in das Bad zu erhalten. Die zweite Etage ist eine große Suite mit einem Sofa, Zweisitzer und einem 48-Zoll-Flachbildschirm-TV in einem Wohnbereich, Kingsize-Bett und ein Doppelrollbett, Badezimmer mit WC und eine Kochnische mit Mini-Kühlschrank, Schränke, Mikrowelle , Waschbecken und Toaster. The outside patio needs heavy cleaning. The small refrigerator upstairs does not work and the freezer is dirty. The location is good and it’s a nice property.

Great vacay Spot

Such a great spot. Really loved the separation of rooms, having the master suite upstairs. The kids loved having the downstairs to themselves.

The house worked for us but was pricey. Typical of Avalon I guess. It was satisfactory. If you intend to do much cooking, the kitchen is very small. No ice maker. No filtered water. TV in one room was broken, window blinds in master broken. The slider screen to the deck needs repair. Floors were vacuumed but not mopped. I was surprised by the lengthy rental contract required by the rental company which was not up to date with my payments. It was abrassive legaleze, not welcoming. Titled "No golf carts, no pets." It had 21 sections that required initialing. I've never had to do that with a VRBO before. They did allow us to check out an hour later than the usual 10 am. The upper deck was nice and has a brand new barbecue which worked well. Overall, satisfactory.

The communication was very poor. I didn't realize my credit card hadn't been charged because it was replaced a few months before the second payment, they didn't bother to notify me until the day before we arrived a month after it was due - that was stressful. Then when we got to the island I had to call the office twice to receive the code, because they needed me to send my drivers license and CC, which they also didn't bother to tell me before I arrived. The space was great, but the floors were very dirty, all of us walking around with bare feet had filthy feet..yuck. Also the property was not properly stocked. There were no plastic trash bag replacements, there were no back up paper towels, there were no cleaning supplies to wipe counters. The instructions on check out were not readily available, we had to refer back to our contract. There was no information about local anything. I would stay at this property again if these things were fixed.

Prep upon arrival

The house was perfect for three couples. We had a great time visiting. The upstairs deck was great. We had to wring the water out of the chairs before we could enjoy the deck, but this was the best part of the home. Sadly, the dishwasher was broken and no one with housekeeping noticed this and took care of the dirty dishes. We did had to do this before we could use the kitchen. The brother of the owner next door was available to help with the confusing heat/air. The house has no washer/dryer available for tenants so we did run out of clean towels & dishtowels.

Great location….loved the balcony! Only negative comment, second floor shower drained slow and did not have adequate pressure. Other than that, it was very comfortable and met all our needs.

Not Bad

The house itself was beautiful and as described. However, there were a couple flaws that needed to be noted. First off, the property management was very kind and got us an early check-in which was awesome. When we got to the house we had trouble unlocking the the box that was securing the key and unlocking the front door. There was 7 of us and it took four of us to open the door. The lock on the door desperately needs to be changed. It was a struggle each and everytime we got back to the house to open the door. This was extremely frustrating to deal with. The neighborhood is nice but there is practically no street lights, which makes it feel sketchy going back to the house at night. The closet door in one of the bedrooms downstairs wasn’t able to close, and the TV in one of the bedrooms didn’t work. We were informed of these flaws via orange tape that was placed on each item with writing in pencil. For the price we payed, I would’ve liked to know of these things beforehand instead of seeing a bunch of orange tape posted about the bedroom. That was a little disappointing. There was also issues with the heater. We tried to turn it on and it didn’t work. It was super cold at night and we could have used that heater. Overall, the place itself was cute, clean and we had a good stay. Thank you.

The house is so beautiful and cozy! The only thing me and my friends had problems with is locking and unlocking the door, the key would not turn making it very long and tricky to open and lock.

Cute, clean & close to town

This property was perfect for our family of 7. The location was so close to town and the updated bathrooms and kitchen were clean and functional. We walked almost everywhere. The stores and restaurants were all following Covid Protocols for LA county. We took the Conservatory tour in an open vehicle and it was very fun and educational. Would definitely recommend it! There is a great little snorkel/mask/wetsuit rental company close to where you exit the boat...the water was cold so the wetsuits made it much more fun. Only cons for the trip: because we stayed for an entire week, it would have been nice if we had had access to the washer/dryer; as stated, this property doesn't include a golf cart and those can only be rented elsewhere by the hour.

Relaxing Stay

the property was overall a great home to stay in for the weekend with a balcony, close to the beach & all restaurants just a short distance of a walk there. only little issue was the balcony chairs were torn and ripped. but other than that everything is was perfect, would go back for another vacation in the same home.

Comfy home for a getaway

We rented this home to attend a family wedding. My husband and I stayed upstairs and our adult children stayed downstairs. This arrangement worked very well. This home was clean and well furnished. We found the beds to be comfortable but the pillows were broken and flat. We had plenty of towels in the bathrooms. Like just about every home in Avalon, this one has its quirks...the stairs don’t have much headroom, but the offending projection is well marked. The upstairs outlets were not working so we had to rely on the bathroom lights for illumination. Fortunately, we were attending wedding events at night so this didn’t really affect our use of the space. The back bedroom downstairs can only be accessed thru the front bedroom or the bathroom. This house is located at an intersection used by tour buses and golf carts to access the road up the hill so it was a bit noisy during the day. However, we found it to be pretty quiet at night. We enjoyed the large deck. We did not cook but the kitchen was clean and had everything we needed to make coffee and reheat leftovers. It would be nice if they provided a second coffee maker in the upstairs kitchenette. I brought the coffee maker upstairs since we are early risers, and then moved it downstairs and made coffee for the younger folks who got up later. Overall, we agreed this rental worked very well for us and would stay here again.

Great 70th bday stay for my husband

Had very enjoyable time at this property. My daughter & 2 youngest grandkids loved the upstairs. Us "older" folks loved the downstairs. The neighbors were so friendly. Enjoyed watching the deer on the hill every evening making their trek. Will definitely rent again. The office staff were so helpful on answering any questions I had as well.
