DETAILS AND AMENITIES... Enter the home to a gorgeous and spacious contemporary kitchen which is a dream come true for culinary aficionados. This space is well-stocked with every modern appliance and cooking tool you'll need to concoct special meals for loved ones. This space flows into the plush living and dining areas where you can unwind with loved ones and watch your favorite shows on the wall-mounted TV. Sliding doors open to the backyard oasis and a bedroom with double-entry full bath completes the downstairs. A lovely balcony resides on the upstairs landing and overlooks the pool area. This home is equipped with Roku TV. This home has a mounted outdoor camera but is NOT in use during guest stays.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: There is a downstairs bedroom with an office space, queen Murphy bed and double-entry shower bathroom. The other two bedrooms are upstairs (one with a queen bed and the other with a king bed), ensuite shower bathrooms and large closets. The larger primary bedroom upstairs houses the washer and dryer in its oversized bathroom and also has a private door to the upstairs balcony. All upstairs bedrooms enjoy TVs. A sofa sleeper lies in the living room.
OUTDOOR LIVING… Enjoy your sparkling heated pool with a waterfall feature, outdoor shower, and lounging chairs. Al fresco dining for 6 will delight your senses as you dine under sultry stars. Lose yourself on the stunning pathways that lead you through gorgeous lush gardens and grounds.
PETS... Dogs are considered and a pet fee is required. Please leave the size and breed in the comments when inquiring.

PARKING... There is a driveway for this home for 2 vehicles.
BOOKING DATES... This home is only available as a monthly rental (28 night minimum). We prefer to book by the calendar month (first day of the month to the last). We may consider alternate dates if the calendar allows or if the owner will make an exception.
CONCIERGE SERVICES... Enjoy our concierge service to assist you with planning activities for your trip, from bike/scooter/golf cart rentals to any excursion you can think of including snorkeling and sunset cruises, jet ski rentals, parasailing, kayaking, fishing, paddle boarding and much more. They can also have your fridge stocked with all the necessities in advance of your arrival!
CANCELLATION... Bookings canceled at least 90 days before the start of stay will receive a 100% refund.
Cancellations inside of 90 days may receive a refund if we are able to re-rent any or all of the dates of the stay. The refund amount is dependent upon the rate of the new reservation. For multi-month reservations for January through March, a refund will only be offered in the event we are able to re-rent. The refund amount is dependent upon the rate of the new reservation(s).

We had a fantastic stay at the Amer Cottage. This beautiful home is within walking distance of Duval Street. The tropical, lush backyard is simply stunning. The large pool is a fantastic feature, especially for the Old Town area. We loved having the outdoor grill, and the outdoor shower was a delightful bonus. The cottage is tastefully decorated and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, this home is ideal.

The house had many special features including barn rolling doors on huge cupboards, beautiful floors, lots of windows and skylights for sunshine and many more.The lush well maintained gardens were beautiful.

This is the 6th time we’ve rented from Best of Key West Rentals Co. and it just doesn’t get any better. The Amber Cottage was wonderful and very nicely equipped with everything you would need. Near enough to Duval St to walk or ride bikes. Parking in KW is always an issue but there was parking at the Cottage and parking on the street.

Great location; very walkable, but also has off street parking. not as private as it seems, as its walkways are used to access the house in front/on Margaret St. (Pearl Cottage). There are no window treatments in the upstairs bedrooms and the skylights made it difficult to sleep at night and impossible to nap during the day. The outside furniture was tired, but since the pool got very little sun, we didn’t do much lounging by the pool. The fancy faucets throughout the house made it hard to do every day things like wash my face and shave my legs; I ended up using the kitchen sink since it was better height and water pressure for rinsing soap off my face. The kitchen was not my favorite, as the cabinets required opening the face and then individual drawers: hard to find items, hard to unload dishwasher & the dishwasher bottom tray did not roll/work throughout our month long stay. Lots of extra bending over and managing the very heavy plates and dish-ware. The fan in the ceiling of the upstairs balcony also never worked during our stay (“part on order”) and since the balcony was the only sunny spot, we could have used some moving air on the hot days. The cleaning people broke a part of my own expression maker (that I had brought) & some expensive hair product went missing, so that affects our feeling about our stay.

The property is a custom-built home, and some of its design elements — including the cabinetry, fixtures, and open, light-filled upstairs bedrooms — reflect the original owner’s aesthetic choices. While many guests appreciate these features, we understand that preferences vary, and we acknowledge that certain elements may not suit every traveler’s day-to-day routines.
Regarding privacy, the home is located behind another residence, and there are shared walkways used for access to the front home. This is disclosed in the listing, but we appreciate the feedback and will continue working to set clear expectations for future guests. We regret that a few maintenance items did not meet expectations during your stay. While some issues were not reported until the end of the reservation, we appreciate them being brought to our attention and have addressed them accordingly. We always encourage guests to notify us as soon as something arises so we can resolve it promptly. As for the concerns involving personal items, we took this seriously and followed up with our cleaning team. While they reported no involvement, we did offer a goodwill gesture to help make up for the inconvenience. We value all guest feedback, as it helps us continue to improve and ensures future visitors can decide whether the home is the right fit for their needs. Thank you again for staying with us and for sharing your experience.
