Zwei oder drei Familien können dieses Anwesen für maximal 12 Personen (10 Personen im Herbst, Winter und Frühling ohne Ferienhaus) problemlos genießen. Das Haupthaus umfasst einen 8-Fuß-Schiefer-Billardtisch, einen Air-Hockey-Tisch, einen offenen Bereich mit einem großen Essbereich und zwei Kamine. Die voll ausgestattete Küche ist mit Granit-Arbeitsplatten ausgestattet und bietet viel Platz. Auf der Hauptebene bietet ein 300 m² großes Deck mit 3-Saison-Veranda einen Blick auf 125 Meter private Uferpromenade, die von einem 25 Fuß langen Dock genossen werden. Ein zweites Deck auf der dritten Ebene und eine Terrasse auf der ersten Ebene bieten einen Blick auf die wunderschönen Sonnenaufgänge, den Gunstock Mountain und die Uferpromenade. ** Bitte beachten Sie: Die Hauptschlafzimmer sind nur über eine schmale Wendeltreppe erreichbar. Dies ist möglicherweise nicht ideal für Menschen mit Gehbehinderungen. ** Zu den Sommervermietungen gehören ein gemütliches Cottage mit 1 Schlafzimmer, einer Küche und einem Wohnzimmer. We enjoyed our stay, did not need the additional cottage. The home slept 7 adults comfortably. Access to bedrooms is problematic via a very tight spiral staircase. Water pressure needs some attention. The scenic views are breathtaking and overall the home is spacious and well stocked. I would schedule this property again.

Great time as usual

We stay here every summer for 2 weeks. It is the perfect place for our family of 4 adults, our boxer dog, and visiting friends and relatives. There is plenty of room for everyone to have their own space AND for all of us to congregate on a rainy day. Love the large dining area for eating together and playing games with lots of people. The huge deck also accommodates lots of people. There’s plenty of parking - room for our own 3 cars, our boat trailer and still room for guest parking. We are already looking forward to next year.

Fantastic stay!

My family and I rented this house for our first ever vacation all together. Yes, the house needs some updates, but the main floor and deck we're perfect for gathering. The kitchen is well stocked and the lake view is outstanding. Our hosts were very responsive, and gracious. I will definitely rent again. We made memories for a lifetime. Thank you to the Gaughan's for being excellent hosts.

A Wonderful Stay!

My friends and I rented George and Sue’s house for a weekend getaway and it was absolutely perfect. There was PLENTY of space for ten of us, as we each had our own room with a bathroom on each floor. The kitchen was stocked with anything and everything which made it easy to cook and enjoy the big dining room table for dinners together! Lastly, the views were simply AMAZING. George went above and beyond with communication and answered any questions I had right away. I’d highly recommend renting this property - you won’t be disappointed!

We are repeat renters for a reason.

This property fits our needs perfectly. Plenty of room for family and visitors. Plenty of parking not only for us but also our boat trailer and visitors. Great dock for our boat. Beautiful views. Love the huge dining room so we can always eat together. Love the pool table for rainy days (and the large dining table for everyone to play cards and games together). The separate sleeping levels give groups some separation. It all works for us so perfectly! We will continue to come back.

The property is a little dated but in NH on a lake and unless you want to pay a lot more a night for a newer place, this property was perfect otherwise. Plenty of room and beds with the additional cute cottage a huge bonus. Most pots, pans, cooking utensils and such I've ever seen at a rental. The multiple decks and dock into the water were awesome. The location and view were amazing. And communication with owners was spot on; rapid response to any questions and concerns. 5 star may be pushing it, especially knowing some people's expectations are unrealistic. Would have definitely rated at 4.5 stars but can't do half stars and 4 starts not quite enough.

Awesome View and Lovely Owners

My husband and I and both of our 20-something kids and their partners stayed. My son & his partner stayed in the cottage--perfect for them! It was an easy house to find a spot to be alone yet lots of space for a big group to sit around and play games, do a puzzle, etc. Our dogs were with us and loved it. Lots of hiking trails nearby with all different ability levels. All 6 of us enjoyed canoeing at various times. We rented 2 kayaks at Winnisquam Marine and every morning one of us would go on a paddle--so beautiful! Restaurants and ice cream are within 15-20 minutes. The grocery store is about 15 minutes away--it's a regular, large grocery store with everything you'd ever want. The owners were super responsive when we had questions. The staircases between floors in the house are quite narrow. Anyone with a disability or not fairly fleet of foot might have trouble.

Lots of highlights to this property.

There are a lot of highlights to this property - room for lots of guests, especially if it happens to be raining - plenty of space to be inside playing pool, card games or board games, or eating together. The main floor has tons of space. There is plenty of parking. We were able to keep our large boat trailer in the driveway and still have plenty of parking for our 3 cars AND cars of multiple guests. There is lots of privacy. We have 2 grown sons. One used the cottage and the other had the lower level of the main house. My husband and I used the third floor. Everyone had their separate spaces for themselves and any friends who came to visit. The fire pit is large and a great gathering space with plenty of seating. The main deck is large. We were able to play corn hole on the deck even while grilling and accommodating spectators. The dock area also has lots of choices for lounging. You can be right on the water or just off the water or overlooking the water… We have a 24’ ski boat that was easy to dock. The swimming area is easy to access. We stayed for 2 weeks so it was great having a washer and dryer as well. I could go on…

Spacious & gracious!

As mentioned in other reviews, this house was very accommodating for our large family. The views were amazing and we had plenty of things to do and space for both kids and adults. The owners were kind, and very responsive to our messages. We had originally booked this house for a winter getaway but we are so happy that they were able to give us this new date instead and we ended up having beautiful weather and even got to enjoy a dip in the lake. Not a fan of spiral staircases but other than that everything was great!

Great set up for a larger group

This place was great for our larger group of adults. There were plenty of beds and none had complaints about not being comfy. The kitchen, dining room and sitting/tv areas had more than enough space for all of us to hang out all weekend and not feel separated from the group. The gaming tables can use a little upkeep but they do work. Owners were great with directions and questions. Overall we had a great time there and it met our expectations. We will look to stay here again when the time comes back around.

Perfect winter getaway!

We rented the house for a long winter weekend. It was the perfect cozy place to stay to get away for several days. The kitchen is stocked with cooking supplies and the dining room table is large enough for everyone. Our dogs had a blast chasing each other and wrestling. The fireplaces added a nice atmosphere and the pool table was loads of fun. I wish the lake was a bit more accessible so we could go out on the ice, but it was too slippery to get down to the lake. Overall we would do it again!

Perfect family gathering place

Our family of 8 enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend at this comfortable lake house. The house is spacious, yet cozy. We enjoyed cooking in the very well-equipped kitchen, playing pool and board games by the 2-sided fireplace, watching the loons from the deck, and waking up to spectacular sunrises across Lake Winnisquam with the mountains as a backdrop. George and Meg are thoughtful and attentive hosts. Thanks to them, we had a fun, relaxing, and memorable family getaway.

Very accommodating house for all kinds of weather.

The house and cottage are very spacious, which was great for our group - son and friends stayed on the lower level, my husband and I had friends come as well and they could stay on third level with us. (Our other son stayed in the cottage.)The main level was great for multiple groups, with many seating areas. We had a rainy day and the house was very accommodating for that. We played lots of pool! The many outside seating areas were very nice too. We had a fire almost every night in the fire pit. The walk from the house down to the Dock was a bit steep and the spiral staircase was a challenge but we still enjoyed it. The outside shower was great!! We were able to play corn hole on the deck because it is that big!
