Great location for our beach getaway and very close to casual and enjoyable dining
First, it was a great week! Weather cooperated, accommodations were just a pictured, it was only my husband and myself, but another couple could have comfortably stayed with us. The bedrooms and bathrooms provided very separate, private bathroom access, if that is a concern. Beds were a 3. You can't expect to cook a gourmet meal with what is supplied in the kitchen, but it's definitely fine for simple breakfasts, lunches and grill dinners. I have a couple of thoughts on making the experience better; there should be more renter information regarding public beach access near the property, we were kinda winging it for the first couple of days, and there is plenty of public access within walking distance. BUT, you need the right equipment if the plan is to access the beach within walking distance everyday, and spend the day on the beach, which was our main goal. This unit is extremely close to the beach, and its a beautiful beach, but without a beach wagon AND a beach umbrella that works with the winds in the area, what is available to the renters in the unit's locker does not cut it. No beach cart, an absolute MUST given the proximity to the beach. Chairs were fine, 4 of them..there were 2 umbrellas actually, but both were useless in the event of wind and this is a hurricane prone coastline...wind can always be an issue, no matter what time of year it is. If there was a good beach wagon and a better umbrella, one suited for the area, I would give this place 5 stars!!
