This was a perfect location for our annual family vacation. We loved the house and the furnishings and the five acres it was on. Michelle was a perfect host. We have used VRBO for more years than I can remember, and this is definitely one of the top spots. They have everything onsite that you can think of. Thanks, Michelle,

Our extended family -- grandparents, children and spouses, grandchildren and spouses -- stayed here for a long weekend. The house fit us perfectly -- just right number of beds; huge well-stocked kitchen; wonderful deck and grounds, with a variety of activities available, both at the house and in nearby Shakopee. We enjoyed lunch and the theater in St Paul, and horse racing at Canterbury Park. It was a hit with everyone.

Beautiful Property!!

We loved our stay in Shakopee for my daughter’s wedding. The house was everything we could have asked for! Our only regret is that we didn’t stay an extra day to simply enjoy the house! Top notch host!!

This was by far the most well stocked VRBO I have ever stayed at. If you needed it, they had it. The house was clean, provided lots of space inside and out. There is not a bad thing I could say about the place, other than possibly more than one bed bigger than a full size mattress, but that wouldn’t keep us from returning with all the same people. I would highly recommend this place to any group needing enough space for a group of 20. We couldn’t even tell there were twenty people because the house was so big.

We were very happy with the Expansive Retreat in Shakopee. Very clean and spacious. Rooms for everyone to stay. The kids had a lot of space to run and play outside. Kitchen was great! There were many places to sit and eat, inside and out. Communication was great! Easy check-in and easy check-out. We would recommend this place . It was truly a blessing for our reunion! Thank you!

Kids heaven

This was our second time staying at this home and will be booking a third reservation soon. We had 10 kids with us and never left the property for 3 days (other than to Target which is 5 mins away). The entire 5 acres is fenced in and the kids love to explore every inch of it. House is stocked with everything you need. Thank you!
