Wow! The view was amazing! The unit was very clean and had everything that we needed. Easy communication with the property manager and quick response. They even came out the next day to show us the path that lead to an amazing beach. We were there at a slow time and had the beach to ourselves. Nereyrda the friendly housekeeper came by every morning to check to see if we needed anything. Don’t worry she totally respects your privacy and seemed to only show up while we were out on the deck. The only negative was we only stayed one week. A car is a must so you can explore. If you want to get away from the crowds and really unwind this is your place. Wonderful stay! We will be back.

Little Paradise

Penthouse Mimosa is a beautiful placewith a breathtaking view. The birds singing and the sound of waves are very relaxing. Kelita is a fantastic host. Nadia makes sure you have everything you need. The penthouse is very clean and spacious, lovely decorated and well equipped. The terrace was our favorite spot. The place is close to Shoal beach, a short walk to the beach and a variety of restaurants with great food. Our vacation was a dream come true. The people of Anguilla, their kindness, the beauty of the island and the delicious food keep bringing us back.

Amazing!!

We had an amazing time staying at the penthouse villa. It was our first time in Anguilla and already looking forward to coming back again! The property and staff are wonderful. We appreciated that Nadia met us at the ferry and we were able to follow her back to the penthouse. She was available for any questions and even booked a dinner reservation for us. The villa is clean and spacious. We loved being able to take a short walk to the beach everyday. Shoal Bay is gorgeous! We enjoyed exploring the island, food was excellent everywhere we went and the locals are so friendly. It was a perfect and relaxing trip!

I had a great stay at Bellamare Villa. Nadia picked me up with my rental car at the port and was available for all of my questions. The unit was as described, in a great location, with beautiful views. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay here and would absolutely stay here again the next time we come. The space was perfect for the two of us, clean, open, airy, comfortable and with fantastic views of the ocean. Private and secure with gated access. The walkable beach access was a little awkward, but that might have been partly because we were there during the off season, but Shoal Bay East was just a 3 min drive away. Loved having coffee on the deck in the morning and watching the stars at night in the lounge chairs. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place, beautiful island!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Anguilla! And many thanks for that go to Kelita. She was very responsive to our texts answering questions about availability of beach chairs and umbrellas, rental cars and so forth. Arrangements were fabulous and we were met at the airport and shown around before being escorted to our beautiful room for the week. Accommodations were great, the view is fantastic and we enjoyed exploring the island on our own. The care we received was excellent! Nadia kept our rooms pristine and Kelita took care of questions promptly during the week, despite being quite sick. I would highly recommend this island and the penthouse for a romantic getaway for couples.

Relaxing Get Away

Pent House was very spacious and well appointed. We enjoyed a 10 day stay. The views from the balcony are breathtaking. There is an easily accessible, very short path that leads to beautiful Shoal Bay beaches. It is by no means awkward or difficult to manage. We enjoyed exploring the island, a car is necessary. Kelita was able to arrange our Jeep Jimmy rental for us and it worked out great. Nadia met us at the ferry with the car rental and escorted us to the property to show us around. All of the staff are extremely helpful and friendly (the entire island is welcoming and friendly). We will surely be back and hope to stay at Bellamare again. Highly recommend.

AMAZING!!!! What more can I say!!

This was our first trip to Anguilla! We will be back and we will be staying in this same location. There are a couple of houses on this private piece of property. That being said it is extremely private. Jerdell is nearby if you need him but no where to be seen if you want quiet and relaxation! We have been all over the Caribbean and this is by far the best house we have stayed in. The view = amazing! The accommodations = perfect! Anguilla = friendly paradise with amazing beaches! We enjoyed the private patio for breakfast and dinner on numerous occasions! You will not find a better place to stay for a couple so stop looking and book it now!

So Peaceful!

Wonderful place away from any crowds. You can take a path down to a small beach area with a bar and restaurant from the cottages next door or, if you want, walk a little down the beach and have a solid 1/4 mile of beach pretty much to yourself. One you round the peninsula (great sunset spot) after the 1/4 mile you’ll see Shoal Bay with the beach bars and more people if that’s what you’d like. My wife and I took their beach chairs down and just set up all day on essentially our own stretch of the beach. It was glorious. The Penthouse was clean and very comfortable and the property managers are always in contact for anything you need. Will definitely be back! 100% recommend if you’re looking to recharge away from crowds.

Simply beautiful!

This was our 23rd visit to Anguilla. Bellamare was a perfect place for total relaxation. We are very independent travelers so having a kitchen was important to us. We loved the gas stove and ate most meals at Mimosa. We very much enjoyed the patio for breakfast and lunch plus the refreshing breeze. We usually ate inside for dinner. Jerdell was there to answer all our questions and it was great to meet the owner, Kelita. The walk to the beach was easy and maybe 3-5 minutes. Shoal Bay is gorgeous and you are able to enjoy the whole beach with a short shallow walk in water. There is a villa in the front and a cottage on the grounds but you have total privacy. The view was spectacular. PS there is TV and air-conditioning but we did not need either one. Internet was perfect.

Paradise in Paradise on SBE!

This was not our first trip to Anguilla, and we always stay in a private villa. I think we spent more time "at home" this year because Penthouse Mimosa offers everything we love about Anguilla...it's private, tranquil and has a view of the Atlantic Ocean that's one of the best on the island! The penthouse is quite comfortable and spacious, and the balcony is fantastic! The amenities are more than generous, and Nadia and her housekeeping staff took their cues from us during our two week stay. They were very good about "reading the room" and leaving things the way we left them...meaning we were able to relax and settle in quickly. Typically someone from the Villa meets guests at their port of entry, but after nine vacations here we're familiar with the island. We had our rental car booked and a grocery list in hand, so meeting us at the airport wasn't really necessary. We really appreciated that Kelita, the property owner, was so accommodating and made sure we had contact info, etc, prior to our arrival so we could go directly to the property. All in all, Penthouse Mimosa is a paradise in paradise!

Island Charm, Fabulous views, great location, amazing people and a perfect stay!

We have been to Anguilla many times but this was by far our favorite place to stay. From the start of our reservation we were treated with such professionalism, kindness and efficiency from Jerdell and Kelita. Anguillian people are so wonderful! During our stay any questions we had were promptly answered and assistance always available. We were surprised to be met at the ferry by the Bellamare property manager Jerdell and escorted to our villa...making the transition stress free. Our rental (the penthouse) was on the upper floor of a two story villa. Upon the arrival to the penthouse we knew we would have a great vacation! We over looked Shoal Bay with a panoramic view of amazing turquoise waters, a lovely breeze and the sounds of song birds...a sight to always remember. On the large deck 2 lounge chairs, a grill with gas and a table for 2. Inside we were pleased to see nice furniture and decoration to reflect island charm and color. Open concept, beautiful wooden ceilings and light that poured in from the glass sliders that faced the deck and ocean view. The kitchen was well stocked and large
all the essential cookware, utensils, coffee pot, microwave and dishwasher. The bed was comfortable and bathroom large. We were humbled to find a gift basket with wine, champagne, fresh fruit, cheese, eggs and a loaf of sweet bread! A short walk down a path and you are at the beautiful waters of Shoal Bay. Walk along beach and you come to plenty delicious restaurants and beach bars. Madeariman, Tropical Sunset, Hanks, Manoah and of course Gwen’s
and many more. A short drive to Island harbor we had delicious croissants, quiche and coffee at Le bon Pan and enjoyed chatting with visitors and islanders. In summery we loved our stay at the Bellamare Penthouse
 We felt safe, had great Wi-Fi, fabulous views, a great location and the most amazing kind people! WE will be back again. We will always cherish our Anniversary sipping coffee and wine from the lovely deck of Bellamare Penthouse

From booking thru dropping off the rental car to leave our stay was seamless. House manager, Jerdell Lake, was professional and so kind making sure everything was taken care of for us. Perfect!

I can not say enough about our experience! Everything was perfect! The view in this picture looks too good, but that was our view! Amazing! Communication with Jerdell and Kelita was so easy and fast both before and during our trip. We were met at the airport by Jerdell, such a warm host. He brought us to the villa and showed us all around. During the week, he was available for any kind of help! He also gave us a tour of the house and other apartments on this gorgeous property. The villa was beautifully decorated which he proudly credited Kelita. Towels and sheets were high quality. Bed was comfortable. Toiletries smelled wonderful and high quality. We opened the frig to a welcome basket of eggs, Johnny cakes, butter, fruit and bubbly!!! What a glorious moment...popped the bubbly and sat on that patio and looked out in the cove. A day of travel and a winter of slush faded away! There was daily tidying service. The ladies were also fabulous. The villa was spotless. The grounds were immaculate. The compound was gated. So quiet! Location!!! Location!! Location!!! There was an easy path to the beach. Less than a five minute walk. Path puts you at the Serenity end of Shoal Bay East. We walked the beach every morning. Several days we walked to different beach bars and spent the day on heir chairs. You could also drive to Shoal Bay East in three minutes. Island Harbor restaurants again 3 to 5 minutes. When renting, there is always a bit of nervousness in whether the property will live up to its pictures and descriptions. No need to worry on this property. It is exactly as stated. If not better, if that is possible!!!! We are already making plans to return next summer and bring the entire family. Thank you to the Bellamare family for 9 incredible days!

Quiet with beautiful views

On the quiet East end of the island. Great customer service. Car essential and the property will hire you a 4WD which you will need to visit some beaches and beach bars. Property has 4 rental accommodations so check with them for best solution for your needs. Penthouse good for single or couple but quite set back from beach. No pool or beach but access to shoal bay is available so you can walk along the beach but need to wade thru water at some points. Property refurbished and if you have a group, just split the costs and rent the 3 ensuite bedroom Bellamare villa with outdoor baths and a pool - or rent the whole property to guarantee privacy. Views from villa are to die for, as are views from verandah at Penthouse but I found the verandah at Penthouse too windy to use often as it is high up and exposed to the elements. There is a 2 bed apartment under the penthouse apartment but you don't hear them at all. There is also a 2 bed cottage on the property but only the villa occupants have use of the pool. Owners may add plunge pool at some point which would be brilliant. Overall I really liked this gated property and do please contact them to discuss availability and needs before booking as they are very accommodating and helpful.

I visited Anguilla in 2006 for the first time and moved here is 2010. My favorite beaches have been Shoal Bay east, Crocus Bay and Sandy Ground. Shoal Bay has the most beautiful beach, but I'm also partial to Crocus Bay, as I lived there for many years and enjoy Da'Vida restaurant on the beach. I frequent Sandy Ground with my husband and b/g twins and thoroughly enjoy this sleepy village.
