Clean and roomy. Good location. The bathroom needs to be better equipped for women to get dressed , such as a table to put their cosmetics. Other than that the house is well equipped.

It was a really great stay! We were comfortable and everything was really nice. The only disappointment was we saw there was coffee that was included so we didn't bring any with us and when we got there...there was barely any coffee for a single cup. We were a little sad in the morning but we ordered some coffee at a local spot.

Cozy & Stylish Spot

I stayed with a group of girlfriends, and we loved the place! The plants make it feel fresh, clean, and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable! Loved the beautiful architectural components in this historic home. The morning coffee was peaceful on the porch, and the neighborhood was quaint & quiet. Great hiking nearby.

Great Host!

This place was just as described. Clean, cozy and conveniently placed within a couple of blocks to downtown. The host was extremely punctual with communication. We encountered no issues with checking in or out. Very smooth process.

What a nice oasis on a long trip on the road! I stayed here with my two children en route to converge on the coast with the rest of our party, and this was the midpoint.The plants are great, I am actually expecting to catch heat from my plant loving partner who wasn't with us yet I assessed the residence for privacy concerns and found nothing unusual with IR/EM and rf scanning. Safety concerns with exterior doors and windowsWe were very concerned about the security of this property. The front entry is a French door, and when we arrived, the back exterior door had no functioning lock. When we told the host we did not feel safe sleeping there without a lock, we were told that the privacy latch and chain were considered the “lock.” However, the door could not actually be secured, and we had to send the host a video demonstrating this.The host sent me a picture of the back door saying to use the latch and chain, so they were aware of its condition. We were told someone could come fix it the following day, but we did not feel comfortable waiting overnight. We requested a refund so we could find a hotel, but the host did not respond to that request. We ultimately had to contact VRBO’s Resolution Team.We made it clear that the only way we would remain at the property was if a locksmith came out and installed a proper lock. From approximately 5:00–11:00 PM, we spent hours dealing with this situation, negotiating with the host/VRBO and waiting for a locksmith. The locksmith ultimately installed a standard locking doorknob—not the deadbolt we had requested.The locksmith also remained on the back porch for an extended period while trying to coordinate payment with the host.We also noticed that the exterior windows in the twin bedroom appeared to have signs that made us question whether someone may have previously accessed the property through them.

It wasn’t the greatest

I asked for handicapped and it wasn’t. The washing machine was broken.There was a lot of ants in the sink and on the counter. The table was broken and one of the chairs was also broken. There was no drawers to put you clothes in you had to live out of your suitcase. There was no clocks so you could tell what time it was.

It was a great stay; the house is in a good neighborhood and close to restaurants and grocery stores. Our only issues were that there wasn't enough silverware and the pressure of the showerhead was pretty extreme. The water coming out of the head stung, but those are very easy to fix things. Overall, it was well worth the price!

First time posting a negative review of a short term rental and I wasn't going to do it but I felt like I had to so people know what they are getting into.There are so many things that were wrong about this place and the "host" and the style of communication that was going on - mainly AI and perhaps people in a call center in another land. :) So many auto-generated texts arrived that it was crazy.No coffee maker, no silverware, 3 plates & 4 bowls, washing machine was running when we arrived & never stopped. No seating outside, someone marching around upstairs after were were told the entire place was for our use, back door didn't really lock, located at an intersection and a busy road, area did not seem safe, password for the wifi is their url so their site is getting hits when you share with other guests, lies about the number of reviews (5800). So many dead plants.Our check-in info was held from us until we provided every guests name, age, phone number and email AND required additional damage protection outside of VRBO. MY BAD FOR TEXTING outside VRBO.I contacted them to let them know I was going to post a negative review and I got an auto-generated answer thanking me for my 5-star review that I would surely be leaving them. Check out the host and see how he speaks every language that exists on the planet. Surprised he didn't list Klingon. So many red flags that I didn't pay attention to.
