Perfect place to stay for a relaxing getaway

Everything was great. It was nice and quiet and I loved getting up in the morning to take a walk around the golf course. Easy access to the pool. The beds were so comfortable. I really enjoy the view of the golf course. If you are coming to this area please give this place a try.

Overall unit was good, nice location, some maintenance required, hard to fully open dishwasher due to design, 5 mugs cracked and leaking, mentioned to manager but not resolved, appreciated the early check in and late check out

Could easily be improved

We have stayed on this property before so we are familiar with the location and amenities which work well for us. This property is reasonably well represented by the photos showing decent renovations and newer furnishings. However, the photos don’t really show the cheapness of the furnishings, the tv mounted askew, the dishwasher unable to fully open without hitting the stove etc. We could live with this stuff but it shows that the owner likely never stays here and therefore doesn’t care. If the owner did stay here he would notice how bad the mattresses were!Worse, the place was quite dirty. The outside grill was left a mess that took us an hour to clean. The dishes and utensils were dirty and the tile floors were dirty enough to turn our socks black. So this obviously disappointed us. All this said, we didn’t hate the place, we just wished that there was evidence that the owner cared. Our contact at Evolve was reasonably responsive, offering an apology but that’s about it.

Disappointing

• In the master walk-in shower faucet handle, you either get all hot water or all cold water. There is no ability to put it in the middle. • The handle on the freezer door comes off. • There are no more trash bags. • We were told that patio furniture, after the wind, would be cleaned. • We couldn’t figure out how to work the living room TV. • In the bedroom to the left of the second bathroom, the table lamp cannot be plugged in. • There is only one large frying pan, we bought a second small one. • The large frying pan had been put away dirty (left over scrambled eggs in it).

Scott’s condo

The condo itself was nice enough. Most of the condos at the Desert Princess are however the service was not good and neither was the Evolve team. The AC in our condo went out and they did not do anything to rectify the situation. Furthermore they apparently don’t want you to have any guests. We were there to celebrate my dads 70th Birthday and one of the days for a couple hours I had a few guests come by and they tried to use this against me. They were monitoring with their cameras. Even though there were no disruptions caused they were extremely petty. Would not recommend. Neighbors who live close by in the condos also told us that nobody who stays in Scott’s condo has anything good to say and that he’s a cheap guy. No effort. Again, would not recommend.

The unit was clean and well appointed. The pool to the east - Pool 8 - has built in shade (you'll see) which is very nice in the heat. We had a very nice time and would consider this unit again.
