ACCOMMODATION DESCRIPTION
This is a 2-bedroom apartment located in the heart of downtown, a stone's throw from Place-des-arts. The location is ideal for fully enjoying the Montreal experience. There will be a description of the neighborhood a little further down.
YOUR ACCOMMODATION
The apartment has 2 closed bedrooms. The master bedroom includes a Queen bed and a double sofa bed. The other bedroom contains 2 single beds.
The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary equipment for cooking. There is a fridge, freezer, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, mixer, coffee machine, and a complete set of crockery.
The living room includes a 3-seater sofa and 2 loveseats. There is also a high dining table as well as 4 chairs. There is a 55” Roku smart television where you can listen to programs on Netflix, Amazon, Crave, YouTube, etc. There is a spacious work desk which is ideal for remote working or studying. The apartment is equipped with very fast unlimited internet (Fibe 1.5 gigabit).
Finally, the bathroom includes a shower with hot water, sink and toilet. Towels are provided as well as a hair dryer and a clothes steamer. There is also a mini washer and dryer available in the apartment.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
This is the best location in town, EVERYTHING can be done walking distance:
- 4 minutes from Place-des-arts (Place of festivities, shows and events)
- 7 minutes from the famous Sainte-Catherine Street (Shops, restaurants)
- 8 minutes from the lively Boulevard Saint-Laurent (Restaurants, Bars, Clubs, Shops)
- 10 minutes from rue Saint-Denis (Restaurants, Bars, Pubs, shops)
- 12 minutes from Chinatown
- 20 minutes from Old Montreal and the Old Port of Montreal
- 18 minutes from the convention center
- Close to universities and colleges (UQAM, Mcgill, Cegep du Vieux Montréal)
Public transportation (Place-des-arts metro station and bus) is also a 1-minute walk away and can take you anywhere in the city. There is also a BIXIE (city bike) station next to the apartment.
**Despite its central location, the street on which the apartment is located is quiet and residential (no bars or loud music at night). You will sleep peacefully there.
