The Neighborhood:

Aldea Thai is perfectly positioned in the heart of Playa del Carmen, making it an ideal base whether you're staying a few nights or a few weeks. Everything you need is within walking distance — 5th Avenue's restaurants, bars, boutiques, and street performers are just 2 blocks away, while the beach is one block in the other direction. Day-to-day conveniences like Walmart, Starbucks, pharmacies, and convenience stores are all close by, meaning you'll never need a car.



Getting Around:

Cancun International Airport is 55 km away, accessible by private transfer, rental car, or ADO bus. Once in Playa, you won't need a car the location puts everything within walking distance. Taxis are readily available; stick to registered cabs only. Free unassigned parking is available at Aldea Thai if you arrive by car. Public bicycles are available to rent downtown too. You will see the BiciPlaya stands where you can rent bikes by the day or by the journey.



Other Things to Note:

A daily allowance of 20Kw/Day of electricity is included for short term rentals. Additional consumption will be charged at 6 MXN/Kw. Electricity is not included for bookings of 7 days or more. On arrival, our local team will take a meter reading, and again on departure. You will be billed after check out for any additional consumption. Help us save energy by using the AC only when needed, avoid leaving it on if you are not in the property and close all windows and doors when you use it.




A security deposit may be required prior to arrival and will be refunded after checkout. Guests will be asked to sign a rental agreement upon booking. The property has security cameras in common areas.

- No smoking, cannabis, or recreational drugs inside — $300 penalty applies

- No parties, events, or loud music after 10pm

- No unregistered guests

- No pets

- Please avoid moving furniture

- Return all bracelets at checkout — $12 penalty per missing bracelet

- No glassware or food in the pool area

- Damages or excessive cleaning required after your stay will be charged accordingly
