A great home for our family of 10.5 to enjoy. This home has plenty of rooms and bathrooms for all to be comfortable. The home is settled in a beautiful spot in the bay and we enjoyed some stunning sunsets. Although there are homes nearby the property was very private.

Everything was fine. With all of us traveling so far it would have been really nice to have an earlier check in time. Especially coming in on Thursday. We found it hard to believe that they were cleaning for someone leaving on that day. That's an odd day to check out.

Thank you for the feedback and we’re glad you had a good stay! Our cleaning company schedules turnovers based on their team availability across multiple homes in the area. Because of that, we can’t assume a property is ready just because a same-day checkout seems unlikely — we’re not the only home they service, and they often have earlier departures or maintenance items to handle before preparing the house for the next guests. We always release the home as soon as the cleaners confirm it’s fully ready, but to make sure every arrival walks into a properly cleaned and inspected space, we keep the posted check-in time as the guarantee. We do appreciate you making the trip up and hope you enjoyed Moosehead!

Boys Trip

The perfect place to stay with a group of 12. Beds for everyone and showers in each room. Everyone had their own privacy and weren’t on top of each other. The Views of the lake were incredible. The kitchen set up and the outdoor patio with the extended deck and fireplace/barbecue was a great way to entertain outside. The basement/game room was a great place to be on a rainy day.

Beautiful property

Wonderful stay for 10 adults and 2 teens on beautiful Lily Bay! Great layout and so much space, no one felt crowded. The many bathrooms were a plus! Very private and ideal for indoor and outdoor entertainment with a large lawn and beautiful deck. The family enjoyed the kitchen and dining area for gathering, and the game room was a great respite from the heat. Everyone enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards. The sunsets are absolutely stunning! Had a great family get together in a beautiful part of Maine. Thank you Raf and Jenn!

Amazing Week

Our family just returned from our vacation week on Moosehead Lake. We stayed at Lily Bay Chalet and it was the perfect location. First thing to note is that the house is super clean! The house is amazing with five great sized bedrooms (each with a full bath) that allow us to enjoy vacation together and still having our own space (beds were very comfortable and they provide linens and towels). The kitchen area is huge with everything you could need for meal times. The dining table allowed for us to share our dinners together (inside or out). The outside fireplace was the place to be at night, relaxing on that huge outdoor couch, drinking wine, toasting up s’mores, and planning the next days adventures. The basement was fun too, we loved play pool and PacMan. The lawn area was perfect for our dogs to enjoy (we never made it down at night to either fire pit - next time!!). Views from the huge deck were incredible overlooking Lily Bay! The most amazing sunsets that we will miss! The dock was perfect for us to hang out on. We rented a pontoon boat for the week, and it was easy to dock it at the end of the private dock. Our dogs enjoyed dock diving for balls every day. Canoe and kayaks were fun (paddle boards too) with easy access to launch right next to where they are stored. Communication with Raf from the time of booking until we left was amazing! He answered all our questions. Great host! Location couldn’t be beat.

Gut: Lage
This house was more than we could have hoped for! We were 7 adults and 3 kids (9-11). The 3 boys shared a bedroom, 3 couples had their own bedroom, and I had my own bedroom. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The house was roomy and clean and had a game room for rainy days, as well as, two fireplaces. The yard, dock and swimming area were also nice. The host was very responsive when we had questions.
