The living and dining area boasts comfortable seating and a rustic fireplace, creating the perfect ambiance for relaxation and quality time together. Whether you're unwinding with a board game, sharing stories by the fire, watching a DVD, a complimentary gin & tonic or simply enjoying each other's company, you'll feel right at home.



For your comfort, the cottage is equipped with gas heating throughout, an open fireplace, and air conditioning for the warmer months. Additionally, a well-appointed laundry with a washing machine and dryer makes L’Papillon an excellent choice for extended stays.



The well-equipped kitchenette provides all the essentials for preparing delicious meals, and the dining area comfortably seats up to six guests. French doors open onto a private garden, where you can soak in the serene surroundings.



Featuring luxurious queen-size beds adorned with fine linens. Wake up to the soft rays of sunlight filtering through the windows and the tranquil sounds of nature.



For additional guests, the library area also features a sofa bed that can comfortably sleep two more.

Nearby L’Papillon is the famous Lake Daylesford 0.5km, Mill Markets 0.8 km, Daylesford Museum and Cultural Centre 0.8km, Convent Gallery 1.1km, Wombat Hill Botanical Gardens 1.5km. Just a short drive away is Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa 3.3km, Hepburn Springs Golf Course 2.9km + many more attractions and natural landscapes.



Getting Around:

Please note: L'Papillon does not allow pets or smoking inside the cottage. Guests are required to provide a valid form of government issued ID for insurance purposes prior to arrival. No parties or events permitted.



IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We are now in the Fire Danger Period, which may begin as early as October and extend through to May, depending on conditions. CFA restrictions are in force, and no open flames are permitted at any time. This includes fire pits, wood-burning fireplaces, and any internal or external fires—these are strictly not allowed and form a firm house rule. All properties are equipped with safe alternative heating options for your comfort, and during this period we do not supply wood or kindling. Significant fines apply for breaching fire safety laws, so please take care and help protect yourself, our community, and this beautiful region.
