The Space:
Cayo La Mancha is a unique beachfront 2 bedroom garden apartment that is literally steps from the sand in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. Ideal for a family trip or 2 couples, It features a fully equipped kitchen with a countertop bar that opens to a 6 person dining table, 2 well appointed bedrooms, each with their own flat screen TV, 2 bathrooms, air conditioning throughout the entire apartment, BBQ overlooking the ocean, and most importantly direct beach access,. You will love the wonderful community amenities which include a large swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, and beach volleyball or beach tennis court.
The apartment includes a washer and dryer for your convenience. They are located on a closet on the hallway.
FRONT GATE SECURITY AND CHECK-IN PROCESS
OUR PROPERTY IS SECURED WITH A FRONT ENTRANCE GUARD ON A SCHEDULED SHIFT FROM SUNDAY TO FRIDAY. THE SECURITY SHIFTS ARE AS FOLLOWS: 6 AM TO 1 PM, 2 PM TO 8 PM, AND 10 PM TO 4 AM. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO SECURITY GUARD AT THE FRONT ENTRANCE BETWEEN 1 PM AND 2 PM, 8 PM TO 10 PM, AND 4 AM TO 6 AM. WE KINDLY ASK GUESTS TO PLAN THEIR CHECK-IN ACCORDINGLY DURING THESE TIMES.

GETTING AROUND & PARKING
Cayo La Mancha includes two (2) assigned parking spots. Ubers and taxis are not readily available in this area.
Renting a car is a must when staying in Rio Grande. There are many activities within 15 minutes of driving distance and the roads are easy to navigate.

All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest.
We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:
- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)
- 3 garbage bags
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)
- 1 dish soap
- 1 dish sponge
- A small amount of laundry detergent
Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.
Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.
HOUSE RULES
RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.
NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.
UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 4 adults/children at all times, including visitors.
OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.
TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.
TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.
SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.
If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.
If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.
