Tuparipari Riverbank Retreat is perched on the banks of the Whanganui River amongst native trees and in a loved bird garden adorned with garden art. This retro studio apartment is complete with an en suite, kitchenette & private entrance. Your alternative entrance is via spiral stairway leads up to your laundry and a second toilet. This is a great retreat for couples, solo adventurers, or business travellers. The wifi is very fast (Gigabyte speed) and is unlimited.
The space
Tuparipari is quiet & secluded, a great place to relax or get a lot of work done. The recently refurbished studio apartment is part of an architecturally designed and award winning home built in 1970 and it retains its retro charm. The self-contained flat is on the banks of the Whanganui River and looks out onto park-like gardens. Just outside your door are native bush, a bamboo grove, lawn and gardens that are teaming with native birdlife. Host Suzanne and Robert invite you to enjoy their garden art or to relax in their pool.

Guest access
The ground floor studio apartment has a completely private entrance as well as sliding doors out to a private patio, gardens and the Whanganui River. Entry via either the laundry or downstairs can be accessed with a personal code. Note that both the path and stair access are not suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Off street parking bay is available. Just enter by the Tuparipari sign (by colourful letterbox) as the property has two entrances.

Other things to note
Early check in or late checkout can often be pre arranged. We have installed a Chrome Cast to the television so guests can their device to the television. There is a security camera installed near the back door (near garage) so we can keep an eye on parcel deliveries. There is also a doorbell camera on the back door.
