What a great place- totally convenient and comfortable. We were so happy to have a full kitchen to cook in, spacious living room and comfy bed. Close to all the things we wanted to see and do. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much for the stay in your lovely place!

Great property in good place to stay everything was in order and worked well about the only negative thing I’d have to say is the kitchen could use a prep table counter space is a little cramped. Otherwise everything was excellent thank you to the host.

We stayed at Akash's place for a month. This is great value for what we paid. First is the excellent location. It's a brief walk to one of Nanaimo's true beach areas of Departure Bay. Across the beach is a park that has pickleball courts and playground equipment for the kids including cooling fountains. Nearby Sugarloaf Mountain park is a fairly easy hike up 100 concrete steps affording a spectacular view of the Nanaimo City coastline. Great picture-taking opportunity. Also, numerous established hiking trails through the trees which we were pleased to keep an eye on numerous native deer. The unit is very well equipped with kitchen accessories, nicely decorated to feel homey and the hosts live upstairs and are very respectful and helpful. Being a bottom level there of course are times you hear footsteps and may encounter the occassional spider. I did sporadically experience buffering on the wifi. With all considering though, I would highly recommend this rental based on the value I've mentioned above.

Nice clean and quiet base camp

We had a very pleasant stay at this property in May 2023. It was very clean and well equipped. Akash was very pleasant and helpful when we had a minor problem dealing with the front door lock. This is a very nice area with Piper's Lagoon and Neck Point parks a short drive away. We would definitely stay here again.

Arrived to find a deer on the lawn next door and also saw several rabbits. Quiet location close to Departure Bay. Unit had everything we needed, including washer/dryer and was dog friendly.
