Welcoming to pets and has everything needed for a stay. There were some maintenance issues that were resolved quickly and the hosts were very accommodating.

Great location!

This was one of our favorite spots we've stayed - we'll probably return! 10-minute drive to Magee Marsh, which is why we were there. Great birdwatching right out of the back window as well.

Condo on Lake Erie

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The condo is small, but clean, and provided all kitchen and bath supplies we needed. Snacks and coffee supplies were welcome.

Just far enough away...

This location was perfect for two people. It was close to everything, but away from the hustle and bustle. Will definitely stay again.

Excellent Escape Weekend

We were looking to get away for a weekend and found the area to exceed our expectations. We were able to rest, play board games, and walk around the neighborhood. Space was clean and comfortable and we would definitely come back.

It was great! We did have trouble figuring out how exactly the door lock worked, eventually we got it, but leaving instructions for unlocking and locking might be nice. We had to watch YouTube videos in order to lock the door behind us.

Very nice rental

The condo was clean and nice. We loved the view. We really enjoyed the swimming pool. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, great company to rent from. Had a great time. We will be looking forward to another visit.

Relaxing weekend by the Lake

Just a quiet weekend away from home and this place was perfect for that. Pictures are spot on representing the unit. Just a short drive into Port Clinton for dining and live music offered at multiple places. Check in was easy and the host responded to our call immediately on a s question we had. Will look to book again.

Good location for birders

Anyone wishing to visit the Magee Marsh or Ottawa Wildlife Refuge can be there in five minutes from this location. The nearest town, however, is about 8 miles away. This is a cozy, clean condo, but in my opinion, occupancy of more than two people would be a "stretch".

The apartment was nice. Check in was confusing. It wasn't the clear from the directions that the entry was on the second floor, but we were able to call the property manager and resolve the issue quickly.

The condo was nice although I can’t give 5 stars as it was a bit dirty. A lot of dead bugs on the stairs (going up to the condo) and cobwebs and also in the screen door. The condo was mostly clean although could’ve been better. The exterior needs a lot of work, but for the price it was worth it. The bed wasn’t too bad although I found a lot of hair on the sheets but I brought my own sheets to switch out.

So convenient to Magee Marsh!

This is the second time we have visited Magee Marsh and also the second time we have stayed in one of these condos. You really can't beat it for closeness and convenience. The unit has all that you need to be comfortable, allowing you to rest well and cook your own food if you desire. The view out the windows of this unit was wonderfully entertaining. We could watch numerous species of birds in the pond out back while sitting at the little table by the windows. And, it literally took less than 10 minutes to be parked in the parking lot at the Visitor's Center. Several times we went back later in the day after having a meal, it was that convenient!

Disappointed

I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all. Entryway was dirty and uncared for. Bird droppings everywhere, piles of nesting. I would attach pictures if they’d allow. Kitchen utensils needed to be cleaned. I’m not sure I’ll be staying at any listings from Evolve anymore. Red flags for sure

Dear Patrick,Thank you for your honesty and we are sorry that we disappointed you. We try very hard to keep up with the cleaning of the bird droppings on the stairway. Our feather friends the barn swallows are state-protected birds and we are not allowed to move their nest until the babies leave so we continue to power wash the stairways often. As for the utensils we will make a note on our checklist to check these during each cleaning. We hope you try one of the properties again and please call us if there is something not to your satisfaction we would have been more than willing to correct the situation if we had known.
