The only negative I had is there needs to be extra bedding as it gets chilly over night and extra towels.

Blue River

The house was amazing. The Great Room and wall of windows with a mountain view were fabulous. There was plenty of space to hang out and cook and socialize. There were actually 5 bedrooms, and all had good, comfortable beds. It would have been nice to have some deck furniture to better enjoy the spacious outdoor space. But overall would definitely stay there again.

Very disappointing I stayed at a lot of rentals, this was the worst. Furniture out date and severs chairs broke, and only 1 burner on stove worked. Shower did not work 2 days.

We appreciate the feedback about the furniture, but unfortunately the rest of the review is false. Only one burner did not work, the other three were verified as working by our maintenance tech. We have an appointment for an appliance company to repair the broken burner. The shower was also confirmed as working by our maintenance tech the morning after check in, and the guest was unresponsive when we tried to communicate that.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very underwhelmed with this property for a number of reasons including the musty smell, dust, dirty windows with the seals falling off, and a slider door that is totally broken. With sich a large kitchen we had brought lots of food to prep large family meals but the stove was pesky, the stone buttons were all mixed up, the oven took way too long to heat up and cook plus the disarray/mishmash of kitchen cooking utensils. But most importantly was the lack of adequate fitting sheets for the couch bed upstairs and a queen bed with full sheets that slid away each night leaving my adult brother on the bare mattress. We searched all the closets and did not see any spare queen sheets. We chose this property to escape the front range heat and to enjoy the amazing Mountain View's from the deck yet there is absolutely no patio furniture to use on the deck. My engineer uncle was standing on the deck enjoying the evening sky and determined the deck had soft spots where boards were rotting and told us all to stop using the deck. He figured that was why all the patio furniture that was pictured in your advertising posts had been removed, but why wouldn't you post this safety hazard to guests or get it fixesd?? Some of the rooms are very stuffy and need a basic fan, especially at night. We all prefer to sleep with the windows open but the rooms along the hwy and at the end of the hall have a lot of highway noise. I contacted the AB&B host Tobey/Lorretta and asked them to deliver some queen sheets and some fans for the rooms but they never showed up during our visit. They did reply that they were aware of many of our concerns but said the owners were not interested in investing upgrades. But come on... at least having decent, basic kitchen stuff, shower doors that slide and don't get stuck and sink faucets that don't spray all over would be expected. In my opinion, this house should not be listed on AB&B or VRBO if the basic amenities and functionality aren't met!

Fantastic Home for Family Reunion Getaway Weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here to have a long weekend family reunion for 6 adults and 3 kids. The five bedrooms made it perfect for all 3 couples to have their own rooms, the baby had his own room, and the 5- and 7-year-olds shared the twin-bed room. There was plenty of space for all of us to play, eat, and visit, and with 3 bathrooms there was never any waiting. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook what we brought. The only downside was that the hot tub didn't work, and that was disappointing as I chose this home partly based on that. Also, some of the furniture is run-down and tattered, needing replacement.
