We just returned from our stay at 172 Beach Walk in Shipyard Plantation, and it was truly an outstanding experience.The location is ideal—close to everything you need, yet still quiet and relaxing. The condo itself is very spacious and thoughtfully laid out, making it comfortable for everyone. The deck was one of our favorite features, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or winding down in the evening.The kitchen is beautiful and well-equipped, with everything you’d need for a longer stay. The bedrooms were comfortable and inviting, and the bathrooms really stood out—the showers and bathtub felt like something you’d expect in a high-end resort.We’ve been coming to Hilton Head for years, and this is easily one of the nicest places we’ve stayed. It’s clear a lot of care went into the property. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Great Place

Home was very nice. Very clean and plenty of room for the six of us. Short walk to the beach and pool. Had everything we needed. Will stay again the next time we are in Hilton Head.

Fantastic condo with easy beach access

The condo was exactly as advertised. Very clean and well appointed. We really enjoyed our stay. Located in Beachwalk the walk to the beach is just 10-15 minutes. We have stayed in Shipyard many times and feel this is the best location on the island. Beachwalk is the closest complex to beach access which is a huge plus.

Great Condo

We enjoyed staying in the Shipyard area. We especially loved our condo in Beachwalk. It was spacious, clean, and great proximity to the beach. We appreciated the well thought out amenities from starter packs of toilet paper, detergent to plush throw blankets. We will be back!

The location of this villa was tucked away and very quiet, with a beautiful deck and a quick walk to the pool or bike to the beach. While clean, the unit had some frustrating functional issues. Many light switches didn’t work or required fiddling to function and some of the kitchen cabinets don’t latch properly. The front door is misaligned, though it does close with a gap, as the house is obviously settling and it has caused some other visible cracks and slanted floors as well. Be sure to read the binder thoroughly, as the trash cans are hidden in a “closet” along the front walk and not immediately obvious. During our second week, the AC either froze or reset to a previous default and for two days wouldn’t cool below 80. There is minimal counter space, but the counters and appliances have been updated. Overall, the stay was fine and the house was clean. I would maybe not recommend if there are children, as the galley kitchen was tiny and hard to use with more than one person. There are two sets of tables and chairs, which was great, and we enjoyed the breakfast nook when it rained- it felt cozy with the rain on the glass overhead. The couches were super comfy!

Enjoyable Stay!

My family and I traveled to Hilton Head for my business trip. This condo was very convenient and it was easy for me to get to my meeting at the Sonesta Resort. The condo itself was very clean and comfortable for my family of 5. It was very well equipped. The owner was also very receptive and assisted me with logistics before I even arrived!!

Very clean and comfortable unit. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms clean with what looked like new toilets. No designated parking spots so you get what available and may not be as close to unit as you could be. But not a big deal for us.

Great Getaway

This property was more than accommodating! Spacious bedrooms and the most well equipped kitchen we have ever had in a rental. Too bad our stay was brief and we didn't do much cooking. The "start up" items for the kitchen and bath were more than ample for our stay. This would be an excellent rental for a larger family or several couples or friends.

The property was as exactly as pictured. Very clean! The closeness of the beach was awesome! Quiet area and we loved hearing all the night time noises from the frogs and bugs! On a clear night there were so many stars! Checkout process was simple! Loved it!

Great unit

This is an updated unit with modern appliances. Very comfortable living and nicely decorated with good sized rooms, especially master bedroom and bathroom. Close proximity to pool and in short walking distance to ocean. Golf and tennis in the neighborhood.

Quiet time get away

172 Beachwalk provides a setting to get away from winter. Temps are warmer than the Midwest giving you a nice getaway from winter and a chance to wear shorts and polos everyday. Itrip rep was friendly and quick to solve all issues or questions you had. Beach access 5 minute walk away was priceless.

Great stay , had limited internet connection

Had very good stay, Everything was great but only internet coverage was very weak. Only was accessible from kitchen table. We where told to use "Itripvacationsguest" wifi. The owner could offer us their wifi password, but there was no note for that. Great location, easy walk to the beach. Great view towards golf course .

Nice stay

We rented this unit to be close to golf and beach. Location is great for both. The unit is very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed coffee on back deck in the morning. We spent very little of our time in the unit as we were exploring all the outdoor activities HH offers. Not fancy. Condo is a bit dated but it worked for our needs. Check in was stressful and the property manager has that feedback for future renters. Pack your own beach towels, they are not provided.

Nice House, but....

The house was overall very nice and had everything that we needed. The only complaint that we have is that there were cleaning/bug chemicals accessible in the kitchen pantry, under the kitchen sink, and in the master bathroom. Very easy for toddlers/kids (like we have) to get into if you aren't paying attention to them. Also we did not want to store our food in the kitchen pantry with the chemicals.

We absolutely loved our stay!!! It was the first beach vacation for our family of five. First time our children saw the ocean. Beach was perfect, as expected. Can't go wrong in Hilton Head. The walk to the beach was about 10 minutes with our slow walking crew :) and the pool took about five minutes to get to. We were able to get everything we need from stores located no more than 5-10 minutes away. The stay was in a super convenient location and very easy to get what we needed for the week. We can't say enough great things about the property! It was perfect. It was extremely clean, comfortable, and practical. It had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. The place was up to date, functional, pleasant, and relaxing. Everything was as advertised. Our host was fantastic as well. They were communicative, responsive, and caring. We probably had more questions than normal, but it didn't seem to be a problem with the host. They were gracious with their responses. A perfect trip and we will look for this unit again should we return to Hilton Head. We loved everything about it!
