I surprised my boyfriend with a trip to Fredericksburg for his birthday. I was very excited about this property when I saw it on VRBO but when showing up and seeing it in person, it exceeded my expectations. The host was so gracious, quick to respond and communicate with me as well as having all of the comforts of home at our disposal. The welcome basket filled with breakfast goodies, the coffee bar and in general, all things a person could want when away from home. Thank you SO much and we can't wait to come back again one day! We truly enjoyed our time.

This was an amazing property. Right on the lake in a very quiet area. So peaceful and relaxing. The kitchen has everything you need and then some. We've been here twice and definitely want to return.

Perfect weekend getaway

Family visit

We stayed to visit family in the neighborhood. The house was cozy and had a great supply of things in case you forgot something. Beautiful views of the lake behind the house.

Perfect spot for 3 old friends to hang on the dock and catch up on 30 years of friendship. Home was clean and spot on the lake just perfect.

Amazing Location!

Beautiful property!! Centrally located to many Virginia Civil War battlefields for the history buff and fabulous lake living for those who don’t want to tour! Super clean, it felt more like staying with a friend than in a VRBO. We had a great week and utilized the paddle board and kayaks, outdoor grill for cooking and probably the nicest yard on the lake for lounging! I would definitely rent this place again.

Great Weekend Getaway

Great property, kids had an amazing time in the lake using the kayaks and paddle board at the property. House isn’t too big, but had more than enough room for us and 3 kids. Big thanks to the owner for sipping the basics (coffee, tea, toilettes, linens, towels, games) to save us from excessive packing and grocery shopping. Would def recommended!

Quiet winter retreat

We had a great stay (4 adult females and one infant) relaxing, walking around the neighborhood, visiting a local brewery and cooking dinner in. The house is eclectic, clean and we appreciated the nice touches from the host (coffee, toiletries, oatmeal, etc). Plenty of extra sleeping space beyond the two bedrooms which allowed us all to have our own sleeping place.

A hidden gem!

We live about an hour away from the property, had never been to Keaton Lake before, and we were so excited about our stay. Perfectly quiet and calm, a gated community, and the home has literally everything you could possibly need. Tonya was incredibly responsive and helpful. We will be back!

Relax and enjoy

Booked this place to get our son out of DC and back to familiar land and tranquility he is used to. Had a great time kayaking and swimming. The laughter we had was great. My husband enjoyed the nostalgic video games and now my son is determined to get him one for Christmas. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to reconnect as a family.

Getting security access was a chore due to lack of follow through from the property manager. Parts of the house and some spare bedding had not been deep cleaned in some time. Otherwise, it was fine.

This is a gated community and requires a form to be completed at least 48 hours prior to arrival, as outlined in the check-in instructions, and we’ll review how this is communicated to make the process smoother. We also reached out to assist prior to arrival and provided gate and access details once received. The home is professionally cleaned before each stay, and all bedding is thoroughly washed and sanitized between guests, though we’ll follow up with our team to ensure everything remains up to standard. Great little place to stay

Nice little piece of property on the lake. Nice attention to details from the coffees and creamers to the personal products in the bathrooms. There is a special tenant form required for this VRBO which we didn’t see any communication about until 48 hours prior to check in which was when it was due. That would have been a nice alert to have early on since it was a physical copy that had to be printed, signed and scanned back.

Amazing!

My senior relatives stayed there and could not stop commenting on how much they loved the house and wish to stay longer. They were impressed by the warm hospitality and attention to detail. The accommodation was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy and comfortable retreat. Tonya went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and her prompt communication made the entire experience seamless. The location was fantastic, awesome view by the lake. The house offered easy access into and inside the house for our 95 yr. old senior who was in a wheelchair. They want to come back in the spring. Overall, they had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Tonya’s place.
