Set on an acre of land with BBQ facilities outdoor settings, we provide a safe peaceful environment in self contained two bedroom cabins. The property is adjacent to the Grampians national park and provides a beautiful gateway to wildlife and the hiking trails. Halls gap village is set a ten minute walk away.

Close to town

The property is only a ten minute walk into the town centre. It was clean and provided all we needed for a two night stay. The owner kindly let us know when there were animals around, we had the pleasure of meeting an echidna and there are plenty of kangaroos around too! Prices are reasonable and match the properties offerings.

A Warm and Welcoming Stay

Very comfortable and we were made to feel very welcome by the host. Generous supply of tea, coffee ,cooking essuentials. The cooking utensils supplied were excellent. A beautiful outlook and a gentle stroll into town. Highly recommend.

Amazing little cabin

Easy check-in process, Angela greeted us within the first 15 minutes and was lovely - she gave great recommendations for food and hikes. Beyond that, let us do our own thing but made sure we knew we could always depend on her if we needed anything. Great host

Great value comfortable stay

Everything was as expected. Property manager really helpful and friendly but also left us to it once we were sorted. The unit is compact but has had a really nice update to make it really comfortable for a short stay. The heating was really nice and effective which is essential for a Halls Gap autumn stay! The only things that would have made it perfect was if there were some wine glasses available in the unit and if the stove top worked effectively, but we just worked around these things :-)

Hi Kate Thank you for your feedback. We have four alcohol champagne/wine glasses in the cabin along with four tumblers which can be used for spirits etc. I’m sorry you couldn’t locate them. Re the electric stove top, it is in working so not sure what you mean regarding lacking effectiveness. Pls call us next time and we can explain whatever you need or provide more glasses etc Warm wishes angie 😃

Wasn’t impressed

Upon first glance the property is clean and seemed ok however when booking I was under the understanding that there was room around the property however it wasn’t that spacious. Also I booked believing children were not allowed as per the write up but I had to put up with a screaming toddler next door. The place allows for 4 guests but only one face washer was supplied, one person could not complete a shower without the water turning ice cold and the towels supplied were stained. Would not book again.

Hi Angela, so sorry your experience wasn’t what you were after. As always, we encourage guests to contact us directly if there is something you weren’t expecting etc. we would have happily provided as much linen as you wanted. Re a cold shower, that’s definitely no good. Contacting us would have given you an immediate solution. LPG gas bottles run out and the switch simply needs to be flicked to ensure endless hot showers with our infinity systems. If there was some kind of stain on our linen I apologise. We pride outrselves on cleanliness and quality linen. Sometimes guests use products that can unintentionally fade a portion of a towel. That can be missed in the laundering process. As for upset toddlers we can’t really control that. Young children are discouraged but are “allowed” at our property purely to avoid little accidents like tripping over on stones etc Again we are sorry your experience wasn’t as you expected. We hope when next you visit Halls Gap you find accommodation that suits you better. Warm wishes to you and yours Angie on behalf of us all
