Pine Tree Cottage sleeps up to four guests across two bedrooms, suiting a small family, friends or a couple’s retreat keen for an alpine escape. A bathroom, washing machine and dryer offer ample convenience during your stay.

If you’re an avid skier, hiker, or mountain biker you’ve come to the right place. When you’re ready to hit the slopes, the Turoa ski field is a 23-minute drive away, and Whakapapa is a slightly further 46 minutes journey. During a summer stay, hike the Hapuawhenua Viaduct or cycle the Old Coach Road Bike Trail.

The Ohakune Carrot Adventure Park is less than a 5-minute stroll from your doorstep also, which is perfect for the kids. Afterwards, head up to the road to the Ohakune Tavern for a bite to eat and a chilled beverage.
