Pet friendly, very close the beach, and pretty walkable to town. There’s no WiFi but we enjoyed the large collection of dvds and books available! A little stuffy when we first arrived and only some windows opened/ had screens but pretty nice still for a small coastal cabin. We would stay here again in the colder months!

Adorable little place with all the essentials. They really made a small space feel cozy. It was a great place to sleep and enjoy meals. The kitchen/dining/living room space is cozy, tidy, and cute decor. Having a futon in the space meant giving up the comfort of a couch, but gaining the possibility of more guests to join. We folded the futon out and hung out there to maximize comfort. The location was awesome!! Super close to the beach and to restaurants, but just on the other side of the road away from the beach. So there weren’t any people walking past the place to the beach, like there would have been if we were on the other side of the main road.

It is a nice little house not to far from the beach. You are easily able to walk to town from this location.

Small but comphy cabin. Clean, well stocked kitchen, quiet neighborhood. Could use some yard maint. between cabins. Would be nice to have a mirror above the sink in the window for easier shaving. Make the center part of the window a mirror leaving 3 inches of window light in on each side.

The futon fell open and the mattress fell on the floor taking my grandchildren with it the minute they sat on it. I did my best to pick up the mattress but the frame itself was broken and would not stay upright. It was very uncomfortable to sit on with people. As it stayed opened for the first night and most of Saturday. It took my husband and his friend to get the futon to stay open in couch setting by proping it against the window sill and heaving the mattress onto it. We were not allowed to sit on again. For fear that would collapse.The place was not big enough for our lab, so he stayed in the truck the 2 days that we were there, when we weren't out. Oh no one ever replied to me on the parking situation. So we were faerfull of getting tickets.

This house was cute and very clean, the rental staff was very responsive and check in was super straightforward and easy. No internet access. There is no dishwasher which is no big deal but there was also no dish soap. Or hand soap. Or any kind of soap period, including for hair, body or laundry. Otherwise great stay. Excellent location, only a few minutes walk to the beach!

While we do advertise online that this home does not have internet or a dishwasher, you absolutely were right to expect a robust soap supply and I'm so sorry the housekeeping team forgot to re-stock the supply before your arrival. The cottage is nice and meets basic needs. It is a very old house so the windows stick, missing screens if you do get it open, and no fans. Water pressure isn't the greatest and the heater doesn't work very well so plan accordingly. Also there is a very old musty smell on all the sheets. There are plenty of cooking gadgets and an old coffee pot but be sure to bring coffee grounds. The local coffee shop doesn't open until 8:00. The access to the beach is amazing though. The lodging company was very frustrating and made our trip stressful. We had not been advised of a pet limit. We have 3 dogs and there is a limit of 2. We spent 1 8 hours waiting on the property management team to get us approval for the 3rd dog. Then 4 hours before check in we get a text that there is a very large pet fee per dog. Apparently 1 dog was already paid in our booking but we owe almost another nights stay for the other 2. It was very deceiving. I am fine with pet fees but not waiting until this close to check in to even disclose it and then charge so much.

Short Rockaway Stay

Loved where the property is located! Great beach access right across the street. It was very cool to hear the waves crashing as we fell asleep. Clean, comfortable. Great little beach place!

Cottage was comfy and had everything - & more - needed to compliment a great stay at the Beach. I'll rent this cottage again and have told countless of other people that they should do so as well. :)

Rockaway getaway

The little cottage was very clean and well stocked for our needs. The only downside was the lack of water pressure in the shower but even that was not a real problem unless needing to wash (long) hair more often ;) Will definitely recommend to others!

Rockaway Beach getaway

Great location and proximity to beach, great space for small young family. No WiFi which we knew going in so if you plan for that no issues! Updated TV would be great or bring a Chromecast and connect to your phone

Wonderful getaway- perfect location!

We had an amazing time at the coast! The house is small, but perfect for a group like us that likes to get out and explore. It could be a tight squeeze if the weather weren't outside friendly, but that wasn't an issue for us at all. We needed more towels and the property managers were prompt with a delivery (thanks so much!!) The location can't be beat- it's so close to the beach and the Pronto Pup. Will definitely be back!

Rockaway cottage

Great location for a weekend beach getaway at the right price. Very clean, the kids loved the bunkbed and all the little toys. It’s a small cottage, for petite people, not a problem. Outside of sleeping, we didn’t spend that much time in the cottage. The morning we checked out, the kids and I watched The Goonies on DVD while I packed us up. It was perfect.
