Osborne Beach House (MCA 139)- Meredith Lodging

Located on a quiet, dead-end street in Manzanita, Osborne Beach House brings you serene ocean views plus a beautiful interior designed for relaxation. From the carefree tile flooring, the plentiful original artwork and the golden warmth of the interior walls and ceiling, Osborne embraces you in calm, sophisticated style.

The upper level living room has large windows, and multiple decks with views to the ocean, plus plenty of seating to accommodate your family and friends. The dining room and a secondary dining area each open to their own second-story decks, one with a barbecue and outdoor table.
The fully equipped galley kitchen makes food prep a cinch.

Three bedrooms are conveniently located on the mid-level, with a bunk-room on the ground floor. Enjoying the beach is easy, since an access is available right out the door. The rest of Manzanita, with its lovely shops and many dining choices, is close by, so your guests can enjoy beachfront privacy or fun in the village as they choose. Plan a stay in Osborne Beach House on your next trip to Manzanita—it may become your family’s ideal vacation spot!

This home is just a walk to the beach. It has a ping pong table in the garage as well as other toys for kids to enjoy. This makes it an ideal beach home for your children to vacation!

Great location with wonderful views

We loved this cozy home. It was in a lovely place by the beach, a quick walk from the town. The views were spectacular. Overall highly recommended and would stay there again!

Nice stay in Manzanita

Classic family style beach house from the 70s—don’t choose this one if you’re not a fan of stairs! Plenty of space to spread out; overall a fine stay.

This house worked very well for our group- 4 guys over 60 as our base camp for 2 days of salmon fishing.Two issues- no propane for the bbq (had to change our dinner plans as a result) & no hand soap.Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay there.

Great home and easy access to the beach

This home was perfect for our family vacation. Plenty of space to spread out, comfortable beds, the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking dinner and there were plenty of linens! We loved the quick easy access to the beach. Will definitely return.

Wonderful house by the beach

We had a great time in this house! Great family area, incredibly convenient access to the beach, and awesome amenities for children including a gate at the top of the stairs, toys for babies and children, books, pack n play, and high-chair! These family-oriented touches were appreciated

Great spot on a beautiful, quiet beach.

I’d for sure come back to this cozy spot! Plenty of dishes and cookware, lots of towels and supplies. Really appreciated the games, puzzles, and toys/books for the children.

Clean and comfortable

Great location, clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the many jigsaw puzzle choices on our one rainy day. Easy walking along the beach into town for morning coffee. The house is a true beach house with several levels and a beach house feel.

Great Place Close to the Beach

The property is well maintained, clean and very comfortable. We stayed for 3 nights and it was very quiet with just the sound of the ocean (and some rain). Had a great time and would definitely stay here again. The only caution I would have is that there are three levels with plenty of stairs so anyone with difficulty walking or climbing stairs would find it difficult.

Relaxing beach side house

When we walked into the house we were greeted with the feelings of a cozy and well loved home. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride in this rental and try to offer all the conveniences. They even had boxes of awesome wood toys for the kiddos. The place itself feels very private and offers a relaxing getaway for the family.

great location & very homey

Walk out of the driveway and be on the beach trail in 10 steps. Sit in a cozy chair and look either at the fog on the hills or the sunset. This house has 3 floors, so make sure your group can handle stairs.

The photos made it look bigger than it was. Rustic cabin. Bedroom layout was tight and so was kitchen. Hard to get more than 2 people at a time cooking a meal. Small beds. Shower curtain moldy and had to get replacement sent over. Checkout time of 10:00am is too early. Should be 11:00am.Great location and beach access with view of ocean. Responsiveness of Meredith team was great.

Great house in a beautiful area of Manzanita.

House is lovely and well-appointed for a group of our size. Location was easy to access and quiet. Only thing to note is that the beach access is difficult to navigate for people with mobility issues. This is the case up and down the coast and obviously not the fault of the owners but a general note would have been helpful to us as newcomers. Still, we thoroughly enjoyed the house and would happily return.

Accommodating & comfortable

We are 4 friends traveling to the beach from different places. We had a very enjoyable stay in the Osborne home. We will book in the future. We were surprised & disappointed in the $50 early check in fee, especially since no one immediately preceded us, and the unit was ready.

Short Family Beach Trip

Perfect place to spend some time with family! Short hike to the beach. The beach was very quiet with not many people - felt like our own secluded beach! House was just what we needed - main living space on 3rd floor, 3 bedrooms (queen) with bathroom on 2nd floor, and 1 bedroom (2 bunk beds) and bathroom on 1st floor. Front door between 1st and 2nd. Lots of stairs - but we didn’t mind. Built in baby gate for the 3rd floor. No AC but we didn’t miss it. Would recommend.
