The Space:
Meaning “happy” in Nyoongar, Djurapin is a thoughtfully designed coastal retreat inspired by a mid-century New York apartment, blending art-house elegance with relaxed beachside living. Inside, the main living area centres around generous lounge seating and a large television, creating a comfortable place to relax after a day at the beach. Sliding bi-fold doors open completely to the alfresco entertaining area, creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living. A second living zone upstairs offers additional space to spread out, while a quiet library nook provides a peaceful corner for reading.
Designed for entertaining, the sleek kitchen features a large island with bar seating, quality appliances and a butler's pantry for additional preparation and storage space. Nearby, the dining area sits beneath soaring windows and architectural steel staircases, creating an impressive setting for group meals and special occasions.
Outdoor living centres around the private jacuzzi courtyard, offering a secluded space to soak, unwind and embrace the slower pace of seaside life. Nearby, the alfresco dining area and BBQ create an inviting setting for shared meals and warm evenings outdoors.
