Honeymoon weekend

Pictures didn’t do this cabin justice! It’s absolutely gorgeous and secluded! 10/10 definitely would stay here again!

Relaxing!

The cabin was gorgeous and so relaxing! It felt secluded but has the comfort of being near other cabins. It was a 25 minute drive to town but the town had so much to offer. It was a great little weekend getaway!

It was clean and very nice, but it advertises a pool and it looks like it hasn’t been opened in a long time. The host hardly responds. The app didn’t send the check-in instructions until the last day, but overall everything was fine.

Hello, Thank You for choosing Sweetwater Cabins I looked at our messages and we did respond to all questions and the arrival instructions where sent over 5 days before your stay. Also the pool is seasonal as stated in the listing it is open late May through September.

Beautiful space

It was such a beautiful cabin set back and away from "town". We didn't get to take advantage of the community area this time, but checked it out and it looked very fun! Super comfy bed, a/c worked great! It was so peacful to enjoy the hot tub in the cool, rainy evening. Absolutely loved it!

Charming cabin. Very secluded and private. The tub was interesting...like a giant cereal bowl. Lol! Pretty far from Hochatown so just plan on an extra 15minutes each way for doing activities in town.

The cabin was beautiful. The property wasn't very well mantained. I would like to have had a trail to the pool/clubhouse. It was very far from food and restaurants. You may want to buy groceries ahead of time. We really enjoyed or stay and how quiet it was.

Beautiful Home

Such a beautiful home, everything was provided for a beautiful stay. The location was not really what I expected. It was about 40 mins from the lake with traffic. The house is such a homey feel, the hot tub was amazing and the bathroom was beautiful!

Amazing

Absolutely beautiful cabin. Very modern and accommodating. I will say I didn’t expect the neighboring cabins to be as close as they were but you didn’t even notice. Still very quiet and peaceful. This cabin is definitely meant for two, has a romantic glow to it :)

Great woodsy fall getaway

This was a great stay for a fall trip - the house was very nice and secluded, but still only about 20-30 minutes to get back into town. The hot tub was nice and the bed was really comfortable. Great for our dog as well. One thing to note is that the wifi is slow - we were told this from the owners since the house is so remote, but I would not recommend it for remote workers who need to do a lot of video calling. Otherwise, we would highly recommend for a couple looking to get away for a few days!

Tranquil Getaway for Two

Very relaxing and secluded location. Perfect place to unplug and reconnect with your special someone. Immaculate and welcoming. You will feel like royalty with all the amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable, the hot tub next to the indoor/outdoor fireplace was a unique feature. The huge round soaking tub with the massive chandelier is gorgeous. The clubhouse and swimming pool is amazing. Beautiful, beautiful place. Will definitely be back again.

Peaceful and Beautiful

This place is absolutely beautiful! It is the perfect place for a couple to get away and just enjoy each other. The back porch was our favorite place to sit and just enjoy the fresh air and peace. The clubhouse and pool were nice as well. It is a little drive into town but we loved the remoteness as it was a place to disconnect from the busy world. They provided everything we needed to cook our meals as far as cookware and dishes. Only thing I would say bad was that the pillows need to be replaced or bring your own. Other than that I would absolutely stay there again and recommend this cabin.

The place itself is well appointed, Elegant, peaceful and very remote/private. The jacuzzi was super nice as a couples tub, the firepit see through was a nice touch. A few minor issues: Wasps! Even in Dec. They are prevalent, and we killed @ 6 during our 3 night stay mostly in the bath area. There is no backyard lighting at night (string light's would be good) so using the private fire pit was not safe. Also the advert said the grill was propane, it is not. Its electric which was disappointing as we were not interested in eating out, we brought steaks and chops to grill and well you cant heat an electric grill high enough for proper cook. Also keep in mind that this location is 20 min easy to any local amenitie besides gas station bbq. Which we were fine with but if you need anything, make sure to plan a head. That all being said, the one star knock was for the wasps, poor lightning out back and the electric grill. Only thing is lack of foot rests if you want to watch TV. Minor item but some kind of foot stool would be a good idea.
