Der Cliffhouse ist ein ganz besonderer Ort. Ein 1.000 sq ft Kabine auf einem Berg auf 40 Morgen mit Blick auf See Broken Bow. Umgeben von 6.000 Hektar National Forest und US Corp of Engineer Land.

Die Einheimischen beschreiben die Ansicht als "die beste Aussicht in alle McCurtain County - Zeitraum".

Unvergleichliche Wandern, Mountainbiken, Vogel direkt von der Haustür beobachten. .

Das Cliffhouse ist komplett netzfern. Wir machen unseren eigenen Strom, Wasser, Warmwasser, und haben unser eigenes Abwassersystem. Seien Sie 100% grün und haben immer noch alle Annehmlichkeiten von zu Hause!

Da wir jedoch grün sind, müssen wir uns entscheiden, welchen Luxus wir haben möchten. Wir haben keine Wannen oder Whirlpools in unserer Kabine.

Das Cliffhouse verfügt über ein Queensize-Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss und ein 350 m² großes Loft-Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss mit einem Queensize-Bett und einem großen Futon.

Das Loft im Obergeschoss ist über eine Schiffsleiter erreichbar und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick über den See. Die Schiffsleiter ist möglicherweise nicht für Kinder unter zehn Jahren geeignet.

Es gibt ein komplettes Badezimmer mit Dusche und ein WC, beide im Erdgeschoss

Die 600 sq ft Deck blickt auf den See und hat eine unglaubliche Panoramablick.

Die Maximalbelegung beträgt zwei Paare oder eine fünfköpfige Familie.

Fahren Sie ein - Das Cliffhouse liegt 8 km von der Autobahn 259 entfernt und ist über die US Forest Service-Straßen erreichbar. Es ist eine schöne Fahrt. Wir sehen oft Weißwedelhirsche, Truthähne und Greifvögel, darunter auch Rotwedelhirsche und verschiedene Eulen.

Zufahrt - Sie benötigen ein Fahrzeug mit einer gewissen Freigabefähigkeit und ein wenig fahrerischem Geschick, um die Zufahrt zu schaffen. Wir empfehlen dringend einen kleinen, mittleren oder großen Geländewagen, einen Lastwagen jeder Größe oder einen Crossover. 4x4 ist nicht notwendig, aber hilfreich, da Allradantrieb ist.

Wenn Sie vorhaben, ein Boot mitzubringen, können Sie einen Slip in Beavers Bend Marina mieten. Der Anhänger wird Ihr Boot schleifen und beschädigen.

Wenn Sie einen Minivan oder eine Limousine fahren, empfehlen wir dringend, dagegen zu fahren.

Die ersten 2 Meilen von der Fahrt ist einfach, man 25 Stundenmeilen fahren kann. Die restlichen 3 Meilen ist langsamer und erfordert eine gewisse Aufmerksamkeit. Sie überqueren 4 oder 5 kleine Bäche auf dem Weg in. Wasser ist selten tiefer als 10 cm. Die Straßen sind steinig und holprig. Sie werden niemals schlammig sein. Einfach holprig.

Auf Schotterstraßen gibt es auch Gehalte bis zu 12%. Das heißt, Sie fahren den Berg hinauf, bis Sie unseren Berggipfel erreicht haben.

Es gibt Handy-Service an der Cliffhouse. Verizon und AT & T am besten funktioniert. Sprint und T-Mobile funktionieren überhaupt nicht. Es gibt eine neue Verizon 4G LTE-Turm über den See haben wir Geschwindigkeiten von der Plattform bis zu 15 MB gesehen.

Sie müssen Ihr eigenes Unterhaltungsprogramm für die Cliffhouse zu bringen. Kein Kabelfernsehen. Sie müssen Ihre Filme auch auf Ihrem eigenen Gerät vorab herunterladen, bevor Sie in unserer Kabine ankommen.

Geländefahrzeuge - Saisonale Fahrten sind auf den umliegenden US-Forststraßen gestattet. Bitte erkundigen Sie sich bei der US-Forstbehörde nach den zulässigen Daten. Bitte lesen Sie ALLE Regeln sorgfältig durch und befolgen Sie sie genau. Keine zwei Reit, es sei denn Maschine speziell für solche ausgelegt ist. Alle Kinder unter 18 Jahren müssen einen Helm tragen. Bleiben Sie auf der Straße. Kein Alkohol. Die lokalen Rangern genießen die Regeln bis zum letzten Buchstaben durchzusetzen. Es ist für eine Gruppe von Fahrern möglich, mehrere tausend Dollar an Geldstrafen in Anspruch zu nehmen.

Kabine ist eine haustierfreundliche Kabine. Die Gebühr für Haustiere beträgt 40 USD / Tier bei maximal 3 Haustieren. Nicht Katzen. Bitte überprüfen Sie die Hausordnung, bevor Sie Ihr Haustier mitbringen, da bei Verstößen gegen die Hausordnung zusätzliche Bußgelder erhoben werden.

Frühe Check-Ins und späte Check-Outs werden nur selten genehmigt, da wir zu 80% ausgelastet sind und unser Reinigungspersonal nach einem Check-Out die Zeit benötigt, um die Kabine vorzubereiten.

View is amazing and the solitude and quiet rejuvenating! The drive once you leave the highway is slow but well maintained. We had several days of rain but traveling over the creek beds was not difficult. Would recommend this well appointed cabin that would very comfortably accommodate a party of 4! Lots of hiking right out the door and the hosts could not have been any more accommodating!

Cliffside Cabin - This is a beautiful, isolated, off-the-grid cabin! Extremely comfortable for my wife and I. The views of the north end of Broken Bow Lake are straight out of National Geographic! The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils necessary. I love cooking on the gas stove-top much better than electric provided at other properties. Plenty of hot water for showers, well water that tastes great, and the Starling Wifi is excellent! The drive from highway 259 to the cabin is primarily gravel but has been improved and is very driveable. There is an area for a camp fire near the cabin and plenty of trees to hang a hammock! We stayed in the cabin all week but there is great areas for hiking all around the cabin. We definitely plan to return!

Amazing lake view! Cozy kitchen had everything we needed to make yummy meals. Hot water for the shower was much appreciated after long hikes. We truly loved it, and feel like we utilized the deck and area surrounding it to the fullest! The stars were beautiful at night and the view during the day was spectacular! The hosts were super responsive to any questions that we had. Would love to come back.

WOW! The pictures do not do justice to the view. You want to get away and disconnect from the world. This is your place to be. Best advice I can offer is to stop off at Pruett's Grocery (NOT WalMart) for all of your food, drink, and snacks. Stop before going to the cabin because I'm telling you. Once you are there. You don't want to leave.Debbie the host is outstanding! She responds very quickly.My wife and I can't wait to book this place again.

If you're wanting a secluded time away, this is where you need to go. The view was as beautiful as the pictures describe and unlike other cabins in the area, it actually IS secluded! It is clean and comfortable. We hiked down to the lake one afternoon and it was just as peaceful! My husband only wants to come back here from now on.

Absolutely Breathtaking

My family and I had a great time staying at the cliff house. The view off the deck and looking out the large windows was truly spectacular. We even enjoyed a short lightning storm one night. Our stay was very relaxing and we’ll definitely be back for another stay. Owners were very nice and helpful regarding our questions.
