We enjoyed the spacious fenced backyard. We were able to play catch with our two little grandchildren, who also enjoyed blowing soap bubbles there. The hot tub was also a big hit. The three non-master bedrooms are on the small side, particularly the one off the kitchen, which is located some distance from a bathroom. The communication with the rental agency was superb.

Robert, catch and soap bubbles in that fenced backyard with the grandkids sounds like exactly the trip we hope people have here. You're right about the three smaller bedrooms, and the one off the kitchen is a hike from a bathroom. We've added room dimensions and a simple floor plan to the listing so families can sort out sleeping arrangements before they ever pack the car. Glad the hot tub landed well and that communication held up start to finish. Next time you're out with the grandkids, bring fishing poles for the resort pond. They'd get a kick out of it. Great Size for Family

We really enjoyed our stay here. House is as describe and a short drive to main street. We would love to stay again in the future.

Great Stay

We had a wonderful family trip. The living room was a great set up for multiple people to be able to sit and visit. The kitchen was well equipped and had a nice large table that was good for family games. This property has a nice big backyard with a HUGE hot tub. You can tell the owners are dog lovers and made sure pets were welcome and provided for. Our stay was super comfortable and relaxing. I hope we can come stay again soon!

Adult Getaway w/pup

2 adult couples enjoying Fredericksburg for a long weekend. The home is nice and cozy. Only 2 bedrooms have a tv and 3 of the 4 are a little small. Distance from main street is good. Paid extra to bring the dogs (Shih tzu) and enjoyed having a fenced backyard but there are stickers in the yard pretty bad.Overall, it was a very nice stay.

July 4th Getaway for Three Generations!

Location was good. Small subdivision close to downtown and quiet. Property ammenities were fine, altho the kitchen lacked dish rags and dish towels. 2 bathrooms adequarte for 6 of us. We never turned the tv's on as we used house games and brought our own! Nice big table in kitchen for dining and playing games. Did puzzles on counter. I had called about a "K-cup" coffee pot to which I was told to bring my own. There IS a combo nice coffee pot in rental. NEGATIVE: The front sidewalk for entry needs to be addressed. It is terribly oneven. An "accident" waiting to happen. No handrails. There is also no grab bars in showers. Flooring in showers very slippery. We bought mats to lay down. Back patio is as describbed. Nice and we enjoyed while a bit of rain was coming down. Nice to BBQ there. Property is listed as pet friendly. We had 2 small non shedding dogs. BUT we ended up cleaning for an hour with "roller tape" before sitting on furniture, which is why I gave it a "3" for cleaniliness, BUT everything else was fine! Hot tub is awesome but we could only put our feet in occassionally. Just too hot to enjoy! Summer in Texas! Property manger/Owner: When it rained, the gutter poured right at the edge of back patio. It's going under the foundation.) Very muddy now in that area.
