Maisonnets invites you to experience comfort and convenience in this one-bedroom apartment, located in the award-winning Moore Park Gardens apartment complex. The apartment features a balcony, internal laundry facilities, a fan-forced gas heater, and parking.
The building complex offers a 25-meter heated swimming pool, gym, sauna, and on-site café. Perfectly located, it’s within walking distance to shops, eateries, Coles Supermarket, Fox Studios, and the Sydney Cricket Ground. The building has also received a 5-star rating for excellence in sustainability.
The Space:
A short entrance hallway leads to a carpeted open-plan living/dining/kitchen area with a sofa that folds out to a double bed if needed, 2 occasional chairs and a TV with Chromecast and free-to-air channels. There’s a study desk/work station and a dining table folds out to seat 4 people. A fan-forced Rennai gas heater ensures comfort in the cooler months and a Dyson heat/cool tower throughout the year. The kitchen comes fully-equipped with a double sink, 4-burner gas cooktop, electric under-bench oven, microwave and a Smeg dishwasher. Glass sliding doors take you out to an L-shaped balcony with leafy views, a table setting for 2 people and a gas barbecue.
The bedroom comes with a king-sized bed, ceiling fan, built-in mirrored wardrobe and vertical blinds to control the light flow. The bathroom has a roomy shower recess, floor-to ceiling tiling, a heated towel-rack, along with a European laundry with separate washing machine and dryer.
Winner of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects Presidents Award in 1999, the Moore Park Gardens apartment complex offers a 25 metre heated lap pool, a resort-style gym and sauna, as well at the ‘Gentle Breeze’ café, open for breakfast and lunch every day. The building itself has achieved an outstanding 5 star result in its NABERS rating (National Australian Built Environment Rating System), signifying excellence in various aspects of sustainability, including energy, water, waste, and indoor environment quality.
The apartment also comes with a security car spot, suitable for small-medium sized car.
The Neighborhood:
Inner city Redfern offers a cosmopolitan and convenient lifestyle, all an easy walk from the apartment. Along with Moore Park Garden’s café located right on the building grounds, you’ll find a good selection of eateries with varied cuisines nearby, as well as a Coles supermarket literally 1 minute stroll away. It’s a 13 minute walk to The East Village shopping centre with over 50 stores for food, fashion and services. The Moore Park Golf Course is 15 minutes on foot and it’s just a little further to the Sydney Cricket Ground and Fox studios, including the weekend grower’s market.
Getting Around:
The apartment comes with its own security parking spot which is suitable for a small-medium sized car. If you prefer public transport, there are several bus services nearby which can take into the CBD (Downtown) about 30 minutes.
Other Things to Note:
* Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.
*Reminder that Smoking is Not Permitted within the Building or Common Areas.
* An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm, and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site.
* A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount for any booking longer than a month. This will be added to your total amount and processed separately.
*If you are eligible for a full refund as per our cancellation policy, a processing fee of $50 still applies.
*After check-in, if you choose to shorten your stay, you will receive a 50% refund of the unused nights of your booking.
* Please note that this property has been specifically catered for short-term rentals by MaisonNets and is not a hotel.
* Due to strict noise policies in strata buildings and Australian council by-laws, guests must avoid making loud noise, particularly between the hours of 10 pm – 8 am.
