Host was great. Very communicative and had lots of suggestions for things to do and places to eat. House is bay side with an unobstructed view and access to the bay. Gulf beach access is literally across the street - very easy walk. Would definitely stay again.

Overall we had a great stay! The location of the house was perfect. It also was newly updated. The house could use new linens, comforters, kitchen pans and outdoor furniture — all of those items felt very used. However, it did not impact us from having a great stay!! The host was very communicative & helpful. We would visit again!

Nice house in a great location.

We loved that the house was newly updated and very clean. We enjoyed the big porch to watch the sunrise and ocean. The little pond was also a bonus with little crabs and fish swimming in it.

We love the island. Property was spacious and loves the porch area. Beach access was a plus. Property Manager communicated well and was very accommodating. Towels were stained and well-used and in need of updating. The property needed a good dusting. Overall would stay again.

Spring Break

A low key and wonderful spring break was spent at this property. Water views from front of back of house & lots of outdoor seating. Beautiful spacious common areas and big table for card-playing. Close to beaches, bird sanctuary, and fort on the island. It was exactly the week we were looking for. We loved our stay and communication was great!

Property was wonderful for our family. Our 19 month old grandson had plenty of room to play with his toys. The deck was great to let him run around on. My son's had a lot of fun crabin in the pond out back. Great vacation!

Great time on Dauphin Island

We had a blast on our Dauphin Island vacation! Kathryn was so easy to talk with and helped so much with planning things to do and where to shop/ eat etc. The house was beautiful, well kept, and clean. Perfect location for hanging out on the bay, or if youd rather be on the gulf beach, just a quick trip across the road. Which is espically helpful with small children. We would recommend this location and home to anyone!

Wonderful Beach House!

The owner of the house qas very attentive and went well out of her way to take care of our every need. The house is as pictured and more. In a ddition to being a beaitiful home on the beach the environment was very family oriented and very laid back. It was exactly what we needed tonwind down from a stressful past few months for us. Can't recommend this home rental enough. Thank you!

Perfect porch sitting

We had a great family vacation here. The house was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 young kids (2& 5). The views from the porch are breathtaking at sunrise and sunset. Perfect location. We would pack up and walk to the gulf side in the mornings, go home and let the little one nap, then walk through the back yard to the bay side. The kids loved seeing how many hermit crabs they could find. The host is very attentive and communicative from when you arrive to when you leave. You can tell that this house is well cared for and loved.

very clean,

very clean, great location, owners easy to communicate with. My reason for only 4 stars is because there were no extras. only 1 roll of TP in the bathroom, only one extra garbage bag for trash can. Fridge just had baking soda, no books, magazines, games ect. Some people may like that . I have stayed in lots of houses. and there are usually extras. they had everything needed to cook and eat a meal just no condiments ect. Only an almost empty salt and pepper shaker. No shampo, soap for showers. For the price i expect more.
