Charles Ave, gehen Sie auf Magazine St AntiquitĂ€ten, fahren Sie die St. Charles Streetcar hinunter zum French Quarter oder hinauf zu den UniversitĂ€ten und dem Audubon Park, besuchen Sie das WWII Museum und speisen Sie in einem der unzĂ€hligen Restaurants, die New Orleans zu einem Feinschmeckerparadies machen.

Diese liebevoll restaurierte Wohnung erstreckt sich ĂŒber 3 Etagen und bietet Platz fĂŒr bis zu 6 Personen (maximal 4 Erwachsene, pro Stadt New Orleans). Es gibt einen eigenen Eingang mit einem Garten und einen Balkon im zweiten Stock. Die schöne neue KĂŒche hat alles, was Sie brauchen, um eine Mahlzeit zu kochen, wenn Sie es satt haben, draußen zu essen. Es gibt ein komplettes Bad im zweiten Stock und ein halbes Bad im Erdgeschoss. Es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer, eines im zweiten Stock und eines im dritten und zwei Wohnzimmer. Im Wohnzimmer im zweiten Stock befindet sich ein bequemes Sofabett und im Wohnzimmer im Erdgeschoss ein weiteres Schlafsofa. Hochwertige BettwĂ€sche und HandtĂŒcher werden gestellt. Es gibt eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner auf dem GelĂ€nde. Parken an der Straße ist normalerweise leicht zu finden. ParkplĂ€tze abseits der Straße sind möglicherweise auf der anderen Straßenseite verfĂŒgbar.

Der Check-in erfolgt jederzeit nach 16:00 Uhr und der Check-out ist um 11:00 Uhr. Wir wohnen in Apt 4, einer anderen Einheit im GebĂ€ude. Wir stehen zur VerfĂŒgung, um Fragen zu beantworten und Empfehlungen abzugeben.

Maximale Belegung: Nicht mehr als 4 Erwachsene, pro Stadt New Orleans. Bis zu 2 weitere Kinder können gegen eine zusĂ€tzliche GebĂŒhr hinzugefĂŒgt werden. Maximal 6 GĂ€ste.

Our host was friendly and helpful. The space was colourful and clean. It was walking distance to Magazine Street, and a streetcar stop, with awesome parking option right across the street. Laundry facilities were a nice bonus for our group, especially after a muddy airboat tour! Highly recommend for all round comfort and convenience!

I would stay here again in a heartbeat. This is where you want to stay if it’s 3 trip to New Orleans. You’ve stayed in the quarter before, you plan to visit but you’re not trying to It’s perfectly situated to catch the street car to the quarter or talk a walk down to magazine to eat, vintage shop, grab drinks, etc.It’s the perfect house for 2 couples to sleep very comfortably. Just make sure you’re all good with walking stairs as the bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor.

Clean, comfortable, uncluttered but well equipped. Two living areas with a private upstairs bedroom. You gotta be able to climb at least three flights of stairs: four flights if someone uses the upstairs bedroom, but well worth it. We had plenty of privacy and room to be together, too. Corrina greeted us and made sure check in was smooth. There is reserved parking across the street, a significant plus in much of old NOLA. We made good use of the LePass app to catch the St Charles streetcar ( just 2 minutes walk) and walked a couple blocks to La Petit Bleu, next to Commanders Palace for breakfast.

Beautiful Place, Perfect Location

The location is wonderful if you want access to experience all New Orleans has to offer without staying in the craziness of the French Quarter. One minute from the trolley line, which will take you all over for peanuts, and just a short walk from tons of bars and restaurants on Magazine. The surrounding area is full of gorgeous homes to wander past as well. Corinna was wonderful: greeting us, checking us in, and offering suggestions. The place is gorgeous. Huge high ceilings, nice amount of space, comfortable beds, and nicely decorated. As long as you're okay with a few stairs (3 stories and very high ceilings) this was a perfect place to sip coffee in the morning and return to in the evening. Highly recommend.

This property was a very comfortable and safe place to stay in the Garden District. We were in town for a medical conference as well as a little fun. The house was 2 short blocks from the St. Charles Trolley which will take you right to the French Quarter for a reasonable price. It is a pleasant and safe way to get around if you do not rent a car. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. She let us store our luggage when we got into NOLA prior to our check in time as we wanted to start exploring the city without dragging our luggage around. She immediately refunded our deposit after our visit and was kind enough to send an itemized receipt so that me and my 2 travel partners could be reimbursed by our companies. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderfully restored in great location near St Charles line

Yet again, another memorable New Orleans stay. We found the home to be very comfortable and nicely remodeled, while the character of this 150+ year old home is preserved. The home is very centrally located. It is one block off of the St Charles line, which is a great east/west transportation choice for the visitor, and fare is $1.25/$3 for an all day pass. It is a very scenic line that runs all the way from the outskirts of Loyola (to the west) to Canal Street , which starts the French Quarter. A 6 block walk towards the river puts you in the more vibrant area of Magazine Street. Great shopping, dining, and scenic Garden District walks. The area also contains the most historic cemetaries, which is a quintessential tourist activity. The home is stocked with everything you need. A very nice supply of linens and supplies. The kitchen is well stocked, although we find the massive number of eateries in New Orleans too good to pass up. A point of note: The layers of floors and stairwells add to the charm of these old properties. Since the main bedroom is accessed by the main stairwell, it will prove challenging for people who have difficulty walking or climbing stairs.

Eclectic, comfortable unit

Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 younger kids) stayed here for a few days over Thanksgiving break. We enjoyed our stay and loved the location since it was only 2 blocks away from the St. Charles street car, which we caught daily to visit downtown. The unit itself is in the back of the house (so you would enter through the side gate to access your front door in the back). The place was clean, updated and had everything we needed. The unit does feature two sets of narrow stairs (for the 3 floors) so definitely not recommended for anyone very old (and you would need baby gates for toddlers or crawling babies). The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets for everyone. The decor was also very nice. The kitchen was well-stocked as well although we ate out most of the time. The owner welcomed us warmly and made sure she was available for any questions or concerns. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Available on short notice, great garden district location very close to the st. Charles streetcar. Secure parking, beautiful, charming historic place with all modern amenities and conveniences. Great place to stay

Having visited New Orleans many times in my life, this was one of my favorite visits. The location of this unit is absolutely perfect. The inside was very comfortable and perfectly suited for our trip (2 couples traveling together). The owners checked in periodically to make sure everything was good and that we didn't need anything. They were quick to respond when I had questions. I would highly recommend this unit and look forward to renting it again when I come back to New Orleans.

We were in town for my daughter's 21st birthday. This place is convenient to both the Quarter (short Uber ride or streetcar if you have time) and Magazine street shopping. 2 blocks away from restaurants on St. Charles and a great bakery and coffee shop nearby. Corinna is a super host and they've done a great job remodelling the house. Very quiet for an older place. Be aware that there are stairs, lots of stairs. Not really a place for Grandma or someone who's healing up from a knee job.

Super cute property, all the comforts of home!

We stayed three nights at the Camelback Guest House. It is a really cute three story property that is older but has a lot of charm to it. The owners were very accommodating and even met us for our very late 1am arrival, making sure we knew where to park and how the doors and locks worked, etc. There is a convenience store just a few steps away, which came in handy- they have a little bit of everything there. The house was stocked with plenty of towels, blankets, pillows and even some small snacks of pretzels and cookies, which our kids appreciated! We were in town for St Patrick's Day and this house was the perfect location to walk down to Magazine St to watch the parade. I would highly recommend the Camelback Guest House to anyone looking for a clean, comfy place with a central location.

Somewhere down the line it was converted into a 4-plex but it still retains many of the architectural flourishes that make New Orleans homes so charming. We love this old house and have been slowly restoring it to its original beauty. The neighborhood is perfect for us; we're a block from the Garden District streetcar stop, walking distance to so much, and our neighbors are wonderful. We enjoy this property immensely and love to share it with our guests.
