Nestled in-between the trees, and located on the waterfront of Georgian Bay, this cottage offers a traditional cottage experience with all the luxuries that a newly built cottage provides. It is not often you find a cottage built from the ground up by the owners, but that's exactly what you get at Georgian bay on the Rocks. Designed as the perfect family getaway, the owners of this cottage are excited to welcome guests to experience the joys of cottage living!
On the exterior, you will have no shortage of areas to soak up the sun and relax, with two decks at the back of the cottage, both equipped with a dining table, as well as a deck at the front of the cottage with a BBQ and another dining set. Surrounded on three sides by trees, this cottage provides amazing privacy and seclusion while being only a 20-minute drive from Owen Sound and Wiarton to pick up groceries and enjoy some local food. Steps from the cottage, you are able to enjoy the summer nights around a cozy firepit. Only a stone's throw away from the cottage you will find the Cottage's private waterfront (right across the street), with a picnic table, Muskoka chairs and a second BBQ.
Moving inside the cottage, as you enter on the ground floor, you are treated to a completely new cottage with high ceilings and an open-space concept. The living room includes a spacious couch, making it perfect for groups, and a smart TV for a late-night movie. Beside the living room, you will see a large kitchen, perfect for cooking meals for a group. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, a range of small appliances, and drawers filled with everything needed to make that perfect meal.
The main cottage has three bedrooms, with double/single bunk beds on the ground floor , the master bedroom on the second floor with queen bed, which includes a four-piece bathroom and sliding doors out to a private deck. Downstairs in the unfinished basement is another queen bed. Steps from the cottage, you will see a cozy Bunkie with a sofa bed and a twin bed in the loft, with its own TV.
About a 30-minute drive to Sauble beach and an hour from Tobermory, this cottage also acts as a perfect spot for day trips to see the surrounding areas. Looking for something close by? About a 2-minute drive, or a 15-minute walk, you will find Greystone Trails, which offers over 430+ acres of privately managed forest / wildlife reserve to enjoy. Greystone has over 14km of trails which provide hiking, bird watching and wildlife viewing opportunities!

Trivia: The Kemble Rock Nature Reserve rises northwest of the village of Kemble, on a high Escarpment promontory near the shores of Georgian Bay. The Reserve contains a variety of habitats, the most dominant of which are deciduous forest and regenerating agricultural land, which is now transitioning to native trees and shrubs that have seeded in from the surrounding forests and fencerows. The emerging forest contains young Sugar Maple, White Ash, White Elm and Hawthorn, and provides excellent habitat for certain bird species, particularly the Brown Thrasher, Blue-winged Warbler and Gray Catbird.
