Diese einzigartige Vermietung ist ideal für eine einzelne Person, ein Paar oder eine kleine Familie mit kleinen Kindern. Schlafmöglichkeiten für vier Personen.

Greystone "Bunkie" war, zu einer Zeit, unsere Reise Anhänger, wenn die Kinder noch klein waren. Es wurde zurückgezogen und ist eine permanente Stelle unter Schutz.

Das Hotel liegt auf einem eingezäunten, 1 acre Eigentum umgeben von 430 Morgen privaten Tierwelt / Naturschutzgebiet und bewirtschafteten Wald, könnten Sie nicht fragen, für einen ruhigen und abgelegenen Ort, um Ihren Urlaub genießen.

Unsere privaten Gewächshaus und Gemüsegärten sind in diesem einen Acker Grundstück. Der Zaun ist das Reh zu halten, sondern ist auch ideal, wenn Sie kleine Kinder haben ... sie können sicher laufen und zu spielen.

Die bunkie ist komplett ausgestattet mit fast alles, was Sie brauchen, um Ihren Urlaub zu genießen - alles, was Sie mitbringen müssen, ist Nahrung, Kleidung und persönliche Gegenstände.

Küche, Essecke, Sitzecke; 2 extra lange Einzeletagenbetten; private Master-Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett; Vollwaschraum mit Dusche / Badewanne.

Es gibt eine private Terrasse mit Tisch, Stühlen und Sonnenschirm vor Ihrer Haustür; eine Feuerstelle (mit Holz im Lieferumfang enthalten). Viele Blumen und eine Vielzahl von Vögeln.

Dieser Ort ist ein perfekter Künstler oder Schriftsteller. ideal für Vogelbeobachter, Naturliebhaber, Wanderer, Sternengucker und einfach weg vom Trubel des Lebens.

The Greystone bunky is perfect for a short getaway to the Big Bay Area of the Bruce Peninsula on Georgian Bay. Very private amidst the trees and gardens.

My partner and I greatly enjoyed our two-night stay in the Bunkie over the Canada Day 2023 weekend. Quiet, private and offering all the amenities we needed to make our own meals, the location provides a great opportunity to explore the Bruce peninsula away from the crowds, whether driving to and hiking in nearby parks or exploring the expansive network of trails on the property. Perfect, serene, quiet, peaceful and gem of a place to be

My family and I had a great time here for my bday. Just what we all needed for a quiet and peaceful place to be with. Bunkie was perfect for a small family like myself. They have a beautiful veggie garden. Amazing view and they did some nice work to the acre land. Loved walking the trails with my dog. The fenced in property helped with the dog being able to roam around freely and enjoy. Georgian Bluff is heavenly place to be at! We will be back and thankyou to Susan for everything and her hospitality!

Peaceful getaway

We really enjoyed our stay in the bunkie. It took a day to warm up but it was cozy after that. The fenced property was perfect for the kids & our small dog to run around. We enjoyed hiking on the trails and such a variety of apples everywhere! Everything was as described and we really appreciated the access to a 2nd bathroom & laundry. We had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner under the covered patio by the greenhouse. Would love to return in the summer! Susan was the perfect host.

Serene Location

While a bit small, the bunkie was well-equipped and clean. We enjoyed having the use of the grill and the full-size fridge. The location was perfect for seeing the area and the quiet setting was lovely. There was air conditioning, which we appreciated the first night, which was hot; unfortunately, some of the windows/screens are now blocked by the outer ‘shell’ of the bunkie so we couldn’t get as much fresh air as we would have liked. All-in-all though, we would recommend for a couple alone or a small family.

The Greystone Bunkie was a great place to stay!

We had a great stay at The Bunkie. The location is perfect for exploring the lower half of the Bruce Peninsula. All directions provided were clear, and it was easy to find. Everything about The Bunkie was just super - the location, the convenience, the surrounding location, and the grounds, wow, the grounds!! What a beautiful spot - there are trails right on site that are lovingly maintained and fun to walk to explore the landscape and do a little bird watching. The Bunkie is very comfortable, with everything you need for two people. Evenings are quiet and mornings are cheerful and sunny. A quick trip down to the waters edge for end of day cocktails, or early morning viewing of the sunrise are both wonderful. The hosts are so nice and helpful. This was a great place to stay, we'll be back for sure!,

Nice Trails

The property is just as in the description. It is very clean, size is good for two adults, and eventually small children. The trails on the property are very well maintained. The kitchen is fine, it has everything one could need. The cushions on the seat by the table need to be replaced, they are soft and slide while seated. TV is finicky and the Internet is OK but not as fast as some are used to. At time of my stay it was cold for a swim, but the beach looks very nice, I assume in the summer it would be a great place to refresh.

Quiet and serene

Lovely area with beautiful walking trails which are well marked beautiful grounds well kept Go to the European Bakery in Owen Sound for breakfast or treats the Balmy bay variety store has a good selection of alcohol. The BBQ on the property is the best we have ever used at a rental. The unit is small but very clean with everything you need tucked neatly away. The owners respond to questions and help out if needed. The bed is a good double the sofa turns into a futon and there are two small bunks for children or small adults. Lots of pillows, blankets and towels about. Nice drive to the place use the link the owners suggest made life easy getting there.

What a lovely spot! The property is beautifully maintained and my little bunkie was perfectly outfitted. The owner was available, friendly and helpful. Excellent vacation!

We are really enjoyed vacation at this beautiful property and amazing tiny house. Huge fenced backyard with outdoor table and fire pit will give you an option to enjoy view of the stars on the night sky, which you'll never see in the city, also you will have access to the private harbor for swimming . Exactly as advertised

We were only there for 2 nights but we had a blast. The bunkie was clean and the beds were really comfy (which surprised me as it is a trailer). Beautiful water access just down the road...just be careful not to end up at the neighbors by accident! Very clean and spacious for a trailer. Great cable for rainy days! Thanks so much to the host she was really wonderful.

We originally bought this property in 1993 and built our retirement home on across the road using it as our family cottage until 2005 when we moved here full time.

We created "Greystone Trails" to give back to provide a space for wildlife to live naturally including digging two ponds so they would have easy access to water year round.

Eventually, at the rate of approximately 1km a year, we created a 17km network of recreational hiking trails that encompass the entire 430 acres. We've opened that to the public for day use as our way of giving back to community.

The trails are about 8-10 feet wide, are mown in summer for hiking and groomed in winter for cross-country skiing, snowshoes or hiking.

We absolutely love being surrounded (quite literally) by nature and wildlife in this quiet rural setting. We, and most of our neighbours, are retired couples who enjoy our families visiting. Many take advantage of the trails for family outings.

It's not often you have access to over 400 acres of private land to hike while enjoying being surrounded by nature.

And, if you prefer the touristy spots, there are no shortage of them within 15-90 minutes' drive.

The City of Owen Sound is about 20 minutes south -- restaurants, theatre, outdoor summer festivals weekly, biking trails, groceries, fuel and more. The town of Wiarton is about 20 minutes north with a grocery store and a few restaurants. In Wiarton, you can continue north about an hour to Tobermory (parks, sight seeing, boat tours, more) or west about 20 minutes to Sauble Beach on the sandy shores of Lake Huron.
