Fantastic stay for a family with teens!

Such a wonderful stay. We have a 13 and 17 year old and they absolutely loved playing cornhole while my husband and I relaxed in the hot tub. The home had everything we needed (including wonderful Pendleton blankets and towels) and the communication was excellent all around. The location was great and easy to hit the bike trail which was an added bonus.

Would definitely stay here again

Property was great. Kitchen has everything you need (including coffee grinder). Bathrooms were clean and in good working order. Furniture was comfortable and hot tub was clean and set at a very nice temperature. Would definitely recommend to others and stay here again.

Everything was perfect!

Our family (2 adults, 2 kids-6 and 9) had to best getaway to Sunriver. The house was absolutely perfect. Easy access to everything. Loved the patios. Kitchen had everything we needed. We biked, floated the river, waterpark fun, bbq'd, cornhole, it was so fun! The house was perfect for our family.

Loved the house! The communication about check out needed to be more clear, since the guidebook and the information printed in the house said 11am check out, but the text said 10am. This caused unnecessary confusion, and materials should be updated for future guests. The WiFi network was also spelled wrong on the printed guidelines in the house. Missing a letter. Perfect family vacation

The house was clean and perfect for our family! This house doesn’t have a/c but they have ceiling fans and box fans in each room. It was in the high 80s during our stay. The house was a little hot at night but over all not to bad!

House was quiet, cozy, and clean. Several of the bicycles had issues that eventually got fixed. Owner was responsive. Slight odor of natural gas or something else on initial entry and each time we returned.

BBQ grill needs to be replaced, master bed mattress not comfortable and bed frame very wiggly, could not get fireplace to work. These were not deal breakers just mentioning it for maintenance before the next guest. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

We've not been made aware from past guests about problems with bed comfort or the grill. We will take a look. We would have gladly and promptly addressed the problem with the fireplace. We wish we'd had the opportunity to do so. We do our best to notify guests prior to arrival and on Page 1 of the binder to contact us immediately for problems we can address. We will be sure the fireplace is working and update instructions if necessary.

Great location with lots of activities!

We had a great visit at Splitrock! Location was perfect, walking distance to the market, bike trails running right behind the house, quick access to Bachelor or Bend! The house definitely has hosts that care about comfort, the beds were very comfy and had nice Pendleton bedding… the kitchen is fully stocked and we were able to bake and BBQ for dinner 2 of the nights! The jacuzzi was 104, perfect for a soak after a few long days on the mountain! The hosts also have 7 bikes that all worked! We did a big 10 mile bike ride around all of Sun River and had no mechanical issues. The house was a great value!

Solid house, conciseness location

Family of 6 vacation stay. House is a bit dated but very comfortable, deck area very nice in the evening. No AC but the house stayed comfortable during a week of high 80’s. Only feedback is ceiling fan in master bedroom way too low. Accidentally hit my hand on it when taking off a shirt. Ouch!

Second stay at splitrock

We had our second annual family vacation at 7 splitrock. We had the best time, there truly is something for everyone. The house has a wonderful deck set up with cornhole, a hot tub and comfortable outdoor furniture. We enjoyed sitting out drinking coffee and watching the deer come to the house. Our kids all enjoyed the sharc and the proximity to fort rock park! We did so many things including rafting, pickleball, horseback riding and floating the river. Despite the heat wave we experienced the house stayed cool and cooled off at night for sleeping. We also utilized the games at the house and played lots of dominoes and monopoly! We will absolutely be back! Thank you for the memories splitrock!!

Nice place to stay!

This was a nice home to stay in if you come when it is not hot. It does not have A/C. We found one broken fan in a closet, and I think another one may have been dropped off to us. However, it was not enough. We brought a portable A/C unit for the Master Bdrm. and also bought two more while we were there!The front patio and steps were peeling paint and wood, so first impression not good. The house was well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. Pool towels were available, and bikes in the garage for use. Sunriver has a great system of walking/biking trails both paved and unpaved. It was a 20 minute drive to Bend Whitewater Park and Riverview Park in Bend. More info about floating/boating/kayaking the river through Sunriver would have been helpful. The pool grass area needs more shade and lounge chairs. The pool is nice for 13 or younger. Little ones have their own area, which is good.We would come again and even stay at this house if they put in A/C.

No A/C or house fan

I guess I forgot to check if there was an A/C in this unit! Unfortunately there was smoke, so cooling down the house by opening the windows wasn’t a good idea. It would be nice to have some sort of fan, air filter or purifier or some type of cooling unit as this area gets warm quite often! House is very old looking, but everything works. Don’t think I’ll come back to this house for the price, but the area is nice. We loved the trails around the house and they had bikes to use.

We always appreciate constructive feedback. The home is equipped with fans for every bedroom and a ceiling fan in the living room. At the same time, we understand that when it is extremely hot, this does not cool the home optimally. Nevertheless, it's disappointing, and frankly unfair, to receive a negative review when a guest has overlooked the features of the home that are important to them for their stay. The home is as advertised and one can see from other reviews, it is enjoyed by many.

The house worked out great for our visit with family /friends in Sunriver and some golf. Good location. Had everything we needed- even enjoyed the bikes provided.
