Very clean and set up with good amenities. Quiet and cozy spot. Close to everything you need and the little town of Bayfield. Host was very communicative. Pet friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

Reasonably priced pet friendly home within walking distance to all that Bayfield has to offer.

Wonderful week at a lovely cottage

That Peaceful Place has a wonderful old fashioned cottage feel with all the modern conveniences. We appreciated the peaceful forest location while still being close to the beach and town. Would suggest taking bikes to travel around Bayfield. We will definitely return for another stay.

That Peaceful Place

Lovely cottage on a very quiet street, not too far from the beach. Beach access can be a bit tricky but once your down there, it's perfect and not crowded. The beach is dog friendly which was great as we had our dog with us. The cottage itself is very well maintained and very spacious. The pictures represent the cottage very well - it's actually even better in person!

The cottage was quite nice and met most expectations. The main issue was that one of the bedrooms had the laundry facilities and 'owner fridge' in it. The fridge made noise (as fridges do - so it wasn't ideal in a bedroom). Also, there was not a picture that depicted both the bed and the laundry facilities showing that was the situation (so that seemed misleading). A couple of the bedrooms and kitchen were quite small and that seemed a bit out of line with the overall price (1500 for 3 nights). Overall we had a great trip however and the cottage had some great qualities - the property was nice and the window from the back sunroom was spectacular. These above are just the points preventing us from giving a 5.

splendid cottage in pretty Bayfield a wonderful experience

The cottage is well stituated amongst the trees, on a quiet street, and an easy distance from the beach and centre of town. It was super clean and very well equipped, and we enjoyed the beautiful sunroom very much. Jennifer, Lea and Shauna made every effort to help make our stay enjoyable, whether it was including a list of local events that weekend, directing us to the best beach access, providing the ultimate paddleboard rental service (loved that!) or helping with any questions in a timely manner. I would highly recommend booking a cottage with Cottage Stays! It was by far one of the nicest vacation experiences we have had!

Lived up to it's name!

This was the perfect place for a short getaway to Bayfield. The back (enclosed) porch was the ideal spot to enjoy a coffee, have a conversation, or read a book surrounded by greenery and light filtering through the trees. The whole family could fit around the table in the porch, and my kids also loved that they each had their own room. The property felt very private, all while being a less than 10 minute walk to the main street for dinner, ice cream, or shops. The front deck was also lovely for reading and chatting, and there was just a lot of serene green space. We also appreciated everything was clean, tidy and convenient, and that there were ample dishes, cupboard room for some groceries, and hooks and drawers to store our things. The communication was great, and we made the most of the suggestions including yoga in the park and some of the walking trails.

Just as it appears!

We arrived at the cottage pleased to see it was situated in a quiet neighbourhood secluded by trees providing a nature like setting and lots of privacy. Inside we were greeted with some tasty treats left by our host along with a handy resource manual about the cottage and relevant contact information. The cottage is exactly as shown in the photos. One bedroom is connected to the master and holds the washer and dryer. The cottage was fully stocked with everything you could want including books, kitchen supplies, games and beach chairs. The sunroom is great for quiet, cozy mornings where you can watch rabbits and squirrels enjoy their morning breakfast. It is conveniently located close to the beach as well as upscale stores and restaurants.it was a great place for our family to relax and spend some quality time together.
