Check in/out are super easy. This house was spacious & not a bad stay despite some overlooked maintenance issues. It is well stocked w/ almost everything but was lacking a knife. We need a lot of beds & bedrooms which this house provided. The bed linens were clean. There was even extras & bedding for the futon couches. The bed in the master had a couple rolling to the center of the bed due to a broken middle support. At least one of the bunk beds was missing the railing closest to the wall. Our kids are big enough to tuck a lot of pillows between the wall & bed. Having multiple full bathrooms is a BIG perk with a mix of adults & kids. The bathrooms were clean & well stocked. The AC at 72 is hot downstairs & cool upstairs. The deck is large & yard nice for kids but the deck needs work (nails & rot). Overall, the price was a bit steep for what we got but a good stay.I would like to mention that this is NOT on the water. I know that the listing doesn't specifically state that it is but there is no layout of the property in the listing & multiple homes on property. If you don't have a layout & you look at the listing photos, you will see one picture taken from the porch of the house closest to the water. I mentioned to the host that this was a bit misleading & was told that they use certain terminology for their riverfront homes. So unless you know their terminology, it isn't readily apparent that this is not riverfront. It's an easy walk but just not what was expected.

We’re glad you found check-in and checkout easy and appreciated the spacious layout, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, clean linens, extra bedding, and well-stocked home. We’re sorry the missing knife and maintenance concerns affected your stay. We wish the broken bed support, missing bunk railing, and deck concerns had been reported while you were there so we could have sent someone to address them immediately. These items will be brought to the owner’s attention. Regarding the location, the listing does not state that the house itself is directly on the water or has a river view. The property offers shared river access, and photos of shared amenity areas are included to show what guests may use. However, we understand how the property layout may not have been clear from the photos and appreciate that feedback. We’re glad the river was still an easy walk and that your group had a good stay overall.

If you want water, don't stay here!

Water ran out on our 2nd evening stay. We had people in the showers and clothes in the washer and all of a sudden no water. We were willing to get water from the river but there are several houses on this property and there was a group of guys partying and peeing out in the open so to not have the family go down and see this, we elected not to get water from the river. they also had not water in the home they rented. We could not flush toilets and had to buy bottled water to wash up and brush teeth in the morning. We had to drive to town to shower at the truck stops. Someone took us water to use for toilets and only took 2 larger bottles and said that it only took a small amount to flush the toilets. we had to educate that man on how much water it actually took to flush the toilet, not even he knew SMH. We had to walk down to the river to get some water and again had to drive to get water to use for cooking / drinking / hygiene. Finally on the 3rd day we are told the water well dried up. Interesting that only the water well on this property was affected as the properties on both sides had water as the neighbors informed us they did. although this house is clean it has bare minimum furnishings. There are no dressers or mirrors in the bedrooms and only 1 TV in the living room. The grill on the patio was extremely dirty and should have been cleaned for the next renters to use. We did not use it even though we wanted to as it was very dirty. The upstairs bathroom had a broken shower door and the water heater was leaking. definitely not worth the price of renting this place as you can't even shower and flush toilets. Now I know why this place had no reviews!!!

As you are a return guest we were so excited to host you again. You did inquire why there were no reviews, which we made you aware this was a new property to us :) We offered you a full refund as the water issue happened during the beginning of your stay and was out of our control. You did chose to stay and we offered a major discount and provided water. Thankfully the water is up and running.

Would be nice to have some more comfortable couches and additional seating. There was plenty of beds and bathrooms for our group. It was very easy to check in and get into the house. And has quick access to the river.
