The outdoor area is perfect for gatherings and watching the sunsets. The south exposure, the tropical landscaping, and the water view guarantee plenty of sun and stunning sunsets during your stay. The outdoor area features a large pool, some loungers, a dining table, and a small BBQ.

The master suite features a queen bed and an office desk for those looking for a getaway workstation. The master bath is the smaller one of the two bathrooms. The second bedroom has a queen bed and direct access to the pool. The second bathroom is just outside the second bedroom door. The third bedroom is the largest of the bedrooms offering two full-size beds, direct access to the pool, a wardrobe, and a TV.

The kitchen is equipped with older yet functional appliances. In addition to that, you'll find all the basics needed to prepare a meal during your stay. Family meals can be enjoyed at the small kitchen dining place or at the outdoor dining table.

Villa Sunny Dreams requires an energy cost payment of $0.22 per KWh plus tax. A hold of $15 per day is required and will be placed on your card prior to your arrival. The actual amount will be charged after your stay based on your energy consumption.

Perfect Location

Loved the place, exactly as was advertised. It worked out perfectly for us. This was unfortunately not a leisure visit as we were down for making repairs to a home on FMB. My only regret was we were unable to spend more time there. It is absolutely in a perfect location, with easy access to about everything. Walking distance to many great restaurants and entertainment. Beautiful view out the back to the pool, canal, very peaceful. Mary and Bruno were very accommodating hosts. The house is still a little dinged up from Ian, as is the entire area but it did not impact our stay at all. We knew this going into as they (Mary and Bruno) were very upfront about all of that. I would highly recommend.

Lots of unexpected issues

Pretty Cape management was not up to date on the condition of this property. More importantly, when I queried in November about the state of the house after the hurricane. I was told there was minimal damage and that the owner would be repairing. The day after making a final payment, we received an email telling us that the screen covering the pool was gone, there was tarp on the roof, and he pool decking was damaged. When we arrived, we found the carpet heavily stained and the pool heater (not "heated pool" as in the VRBO listing) was missing. Pretty Cape management told me there never was one even though I pointed out that the listing still said there was one. Additionally. the pool filter bucket was broken and never was repaired. We finally rigged our own way of fixing it. Lastly, the tarp over the roof blew off twice and shredded repeatedly. They sent out a repairman who patched and patched. Now the heater was replaced and we did receive credit, the carpet remained disgusting. Molding counters, and floor tile were chipped This property was listed as "an old Florida home. To my mind that didn't me it was in poorly maintained. The owner has not kept up this house and Pretty Cape was not honest in it's condition. The location is fine. The neighborhood nice.

Nice house for the price

This is definitely an older rental but this was a 5 star stay due to price , cleanliness, and communication with Hosts. It’s not a bad place at all. There were some things with this rental that were kind of annoying but they didn’t ruin the experience. One of the main things was the air conditioning in the home. It can’t go below 74 due to the settings due to freezing up I’m assuming, At 74 , even then It cannot keep up and easily got to 80 degrees in the house most days. We also tried to keep it a bit higher in case 74 might be freezing it up and it was worse. It’s not super uncomfortable in the open room/kitchen , but the bedrooms were stuffy and hot until late at night. Some of my family members ended up sleeping in the main room due to this. Again , it wasn’t terrible but hopefully something that could be looked at. Also the patio to the pool needs some sort of sealant on it , as the tiny rocks are coming up and even cut my kids foot. It can’t be walked on barefoot without hurting . Also , Would be nice to have a place to store dry goods , rather then spread out on the counters. All kitchen cabinets have stuff in them except the top shelf of where they are keeping spices and that just isn’t enough room and hard to reach. Just some thoughts after spending 10 days at this rental. We did enjoy our stay and would visit again for the right price.
