As for the bed, we did discover after your stay that someone had broken the slats. All has since been repaired and no more monkeys jumping on the bed. Had we known it was broken, we would have gladly had maintenance come by during your stay. We're so sorry you had an uncomfortable night's sleep. Thank you again for staying with us!

We haven't heard a guest mention the dryer not working before nor after your stay. Maybe it was a fluke, but we will definitely check it out. We appreciate you allowing us to host your stay!

Thank you for allowing us to host your stay Diem. Ashley on our Guest Service Team went back through all the correspondence with you before and during your stay, and she did not find any communication nor indication you were unhappy. We would have gladly sent our housekeepers back, no problem at all, had you voiced any concerns on cleanliness. We take clean very seriously! Additionally, our field supervisor personally visited the home after your stay and shared that the rugs are not dirty rather appear to be stained by tar (off of the beach) permanently, unfortunately. It is very hard to remove without damaging the rugs themselves. She also did not find any evidence of spiders nor has another guest mentioned this. However, this is a beach and island with lots of nature. While this home is on the coast with plenty of sun, salt, sand and humidity doing their very finest on the exterior of homes (and outdoor furniture, especially coupled with those sea breezes), this is a relatively recently remodeled home. We are not aware of any problems with the decking nor has anyone else mentioned that. Although, our maintenance team will certainly check it out. We're sorry to hear you left a day early. Just wish you would have contacted us.

While we take all feedback seriously, for future guests, this experience seems to be the product of an unhappy person, sadly. The signs were evident even before arrival which really is too bad for both parties. Many efforts were made by our field staff to accommodate, including an offer to re-clean the home top to bottom, which was denied. Perhaps another type of accommodation, like a hotel, would be better in the future for someone who is not familiar with beach homes and the salt, salty air, and humidity that come with it. We do wish you the best in future travels.
