Home on Buchanan Lake

The home is comfortable, clean and well appointed. We had no problems checking in or otherwise. We would recommend this property to friends.

Weekend of fun

We were in the area for a Spartan Race. The location was a good proximity to our race site. It was very clean, great communication with the host, we did not need any help with anything, but if we did, they were easy to get in touch with. I was told by our group, we will be staying there again.

Nice and clean. The fans and porch lights didn’t work on the back porch. Lake access was somewhat confusing. We weren’t sure what was private and what was public.

Wonderful weekend getaway at the lake

This property had everything we needed and wanted for a boat weekend at Lake Buchanan. We were looking for a property that would allow close access to a boat ramp (1 mile away from house) with direct lake access. This was the perfect location for that. As a bonus there's access to the neighborhood park directly across the street that accesses a shallow/sandy beach area. We were able to anchor the boat mid day, have lunch at the house then easily return to the lake - no hassle. The property and home itself was very well appointed, spacious and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Would definitely return and recommend to those wanting easy access to the lake.

Enjoyable and excellent views

The only complaint we have is that we had to pay a cleaning fee, but were required to strip all bedding, towels, wash and dry all dishes and put them away. We have stayed at numerous other places, and hsve only been required to load the dish washer. Also, the door code didn't working when we arrived. Had to get code for the key before we could enter the property.

Hi Daniel, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: - We strive to provide our guests with a great guest experience, so we were disappointed to hear your feedback and want to take a moment to address your concerns. - We're glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and the views our property has to offer.- As is standard for vacation rentals, guests are asked to complete a few small tasks, like stripping the beds and removing their trash, as part of checkout. The cleaning fee goes to a professional service that sanitizes and prepares the home for each new guest. However, we take our guest feedback seriously and have since taken steps to adjust our check-out instructions for an easier check-out process for our future guests.- We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience during check-in. We had experienced some thunderstorms in the area which caused the wireless lock to lose connectivity temporarily. We have since followed up and the lock is fully functioning. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Relaxing Weekend

We wanted to explore the Burnet area. Since we were traveling with our dog, I searched for a “dog friendly “ home. We are so glad we found this house. The house was comfortable, nicely decorated, and well equipped. One of the best parts of the house was the large covered porch with a view of the lake and we appreciated the fenced yard.. We thoroughly enjoyed a glass of wine in the evenings and a cup of coffee in the mornings…..thanks to the porch! All in all, it was a “relaxing weekend “.

Peaceful and Relaxing

Our stay was nice. We arrived early in the evening. We sat out on the porch enjoying our surroundings. Sitting on the porch drinking coffee the next morning was just as relaxing. My grandson loved walking on the beach and collecting fossils (seashells).

Father's Day 2022

Front porch sitting paradise with view of Buchanan lake. Just a short walk across the road to access the lake. Not so friendly neighborhood. Lots of drive bys on golf carts and stare downs vehicle occupants. I would add to the online listing that the pantry and garage are not for use by renters. The house itself was very clean and roomy. Love the fact that there was washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. The property management was always friendly, helpfuland quick to respond to questions.
