When we arrived, none of the beds had any sheets, pillowcases, or comforters, and there were no towels of any kind — basic essentials that should be ready before check-in. We had to make multiple calls on the first day just to get the basics, and although items were delivered the next day, we had to wait around to receive everything, including a universal TV remote and a replacement smoke detector (since the original had been completely removed — a major safety concern).
The kitchen was poorly equipped, with no usable pots and pans, no cutting board, and only four plates, despite the unit being listed for six guests. The tiny pull-out dining table barely seats five, and even that’s cramped. If you’re planning to cook or dine in as a group, be prepared for some frustration.
Other problems included:
• Non-functional sliding door blinds, reducing privacy and light control.
• No blackout curtains, so you’re up with the sun whether you want to be or not.
• Air conditioner only in the living room, causing a major imbalance — the pull-out sofa area was freezing while the bedrooms were too warm.
• No broom, mop, or dustpan, making it hard to keep the floors clean in a beach setting.
