The Cutting Estate is a country retreat with 7 bedrooms & 6.5 bathrooms that can accommodate up to 20 people. It's the perfect house for a large group family and/or friends. The unique position of this house on the corner of The Cutting, on the iconic Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit, offers unparalleled private seclusion. The house is situated on beautifully 5 acres of landscaped gardens & north-facing views over Bathurst. It offers easy 24 hours per day access during race weeks. We have a solar heated magnesium pool, tennis/basketball court & football size grass field.

Great family weekend away

Had an amazing weekend away with the family, most rooms had newly done up ensuites and the view the property provides is stunning. Kudos to Nigel and Suzi, great hosts and made our experience very hospitable and welcome.

Great view and fun for the family

Kids all loved it. The tennis, The kangaroos, the fire pit. All good fun. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. Would definitely stay again

The property was lovely and had a amazing views. It was large enough and had manh rooms with ensuites. The kitchen was stocked well with cooking utensils and other household items. There were was a pool and tennis court that we greatly enjoyed. The host is very responsive and lovely people.A couple things that would have made our stay more enjoyable is having air con in the bedrooms. The bedrooms get very hot and no fans were provided. Also if you go in summer be aware that there are many bugs on the property especially at night. One bedroom and bathroom was outside the main hosue and had lots of bugs. The toilet seat in the bathroom in the downstairs ensuite was also faulty.

Thank you for your review and for staying with us. We’re glad you enjoyed the beautiful views, spacious layout with multiple ensuites, the well‑equipped kitchen, and the pool and tennis court. We also appreciate your kind words about our responsiveness. We’re sorry that some aspects of your stay were less comfortable. We had a professional air‑conditioning company install a new system, but because the home is 40 years old, it has a single‑duct system, meaning the temperature cannot be controlled equally across all rooms. Your visit also fell during a heatwave, which made cooling even more challenging, Bathurst summers can be very hot. As the property is in a rural area and borders Mount Panoroma Protected Woodlands, bugs and insects are naturally part of country life, especially at night. Thank you for noting the downstairs ensuite toilet seat—our plumber has now repaired it. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again.

Amazing stay

We recently stayed at this wonderful holiday house and had the most amazing experience. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The property itself was absolutely beautiful—immaculately maintained and perfectly situated for a relaxing getaway. The house had everything we could possibly need, from a fully-equipped kitchen to comfortable beds and cozy living spaces. The owners were a pleasure to communicate with. They were responsive, friendly, and made sure we had all the information we needed before our arrival. We met the owner upon arrival. He showed us everything we needed to know about the house. He even went as far as to recommend some local butchers. Highly recommend this property!

Nigel gave us a warm welcome and showed us the entire house. He even kindly showed us his sports car. The house exuded charm and warmth. We enjoyed picturesque views and the tranquillity of the surroundings, creating a perfect backdrop for a relaxing holiday. The amenities provided made our stay convenient and enjoyable. From a well-equipped kitchen to comfortable bedding and plenty of outdoor activities for all ages, it was evident that you have considered the needs of your guests. Exceptional experience

We had a wonderful time with family relaxing on this huge property. The house was spacious with enough rooms for a big family, it was very clean and facilities were excellent. The location was also very unique, with the house being on top of a race course and being in a quiet and secluded area. Suzi was an amazing host; she was extremely easy to communicate with and took extra time to make us feel welcome and accommodated at the property. I would highly recommend booking this property to anyone who is looking to stay in Bathhurst.

We love motorsport and love living the on the iconic Mount Panorama, home of Australian motorsport. It's close proximity to Sydney (2.5 hour drive), enables us to enjoy the country lifestyle while being close commute to/from Sydney.

If you love motorsport, we are the place you need to stay during race weeks or enjoy the experience of staying on the iconic Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit. We are located on the corner of The Cutting, so race time (Bathurst 1000, Bathurst 12 hour, Bathurst 6 hour, Challenge Bathurst, Bathust International), our guest watch just metres from the track as cars racing around our corner, sometimes crashing into our barrier, and it only you have access to this part of the track.

If you are looking for something unique for a large group of family and/or friends our place is perfect for you, sleeping up to 20 people across 7 bedrooms. It's rare that a property can accommodate so many people. We offer absolute seclusion with unparalleled views over the Bathurst region.
