Poor communication and no pool
I contacted Village Realty when we arrived (Monday) regarding the pool being dirty. The next day (Tuesday) I contacted them regarding the pool, ants, and spider webs with bugs. There is no way they perform their due diligence after the cleaning and prior to the guest’s arrival. They informed me the pool had been cleaned and someone would come by to inspect. I contacted them again Wednesday as the pool had bugs and leaves in it, which they told me to use the pool net and clean it. We cleaned the top and my father discovered the filter at the bottom was filled with dead leaves. So no one had cleaned it prior to filling it. We also had to add more water because the pool jets were not covered. So once we removed the leaves from the filter I cleaned it again the next day, which was Thursday. Finally the kids were able to get in. Someone came to inspect the pool later that day and vacuumed it, as they could see it hadn’t been cleaned. They also added more water and chlorine. I contacted the rental company again to complain and was told a manager would call me. It rained Friday so my kids were only able to swim one day of the entire vacation, as we left Saturday. I’m still waiting for management to call. No one has gotten back to me. I contacted them Monday through Friday. Then I receive a text asking me how was my stay. I said I’m still waiting for management to call to which I was told they would let them know. I will not be using them again and I do not recommend them!
