Sechstes Haus vom Strand entfernt und wir haben einen privaten Parkplatz !! Unsere Bungalows sind so nah am Strand, dass Sie nachts einschlafen und den Wellen des Pazifischen Ozeans lauschen können. Brighton Beach Bungalows sind privat und ruhig, nur 100 Meter vom Sand und Meer entfernt. Der Strand hier ist super! Es ist ein breiter, schöner, sauberer Sandstrand, der Ruhe und Entspannung oder Spaß in der Sonne bietet. Sie können alles in unseren Brighton Beach Bungalows haben.

Unsere Bungalows bieten den Komfort eines Zuhauses, gepolsterte Schlafsofas, Queen-Size-Pillow-Top-Betten mit luxuriöser Bettwäsche und Daunen. Die Küchen bieten alles, was Sie brauchen, um den Küchenchef zu inspirieren. Whirlpools sind am Ende des Tages so entspannend, nachdem Sie Ihren Spaß in der Sonne am Strand genossen haben. Der Grill im Freien und der umzäunte Innenhof sind der perfekte Ort, um die abendliche Meeresbrise oder den Morgenkaffee zu genießen. Die Belebung Ihres Geistes und die Beruhigung Ihrer Seele ist unser Ziel in den Brighton Beach Bungalows.

Die Stadt Ocean Beach wurde 1888 angelegt und benannt. Es ist die ultimative Strandstadt und bietet Besuchern viele schöne Möglichkeiten, den Tag zu verbringen. Schwimmen, Surfen, Body-Surfen, Sonnenbaden, Drachenfliegen, Gezeitenbecken, Angeln, Segeln, Wasserski, Jetski, Schnorcheln, Kajakfahren, Lagerfeuer, Sternbeobachtung und Sonnenuntergangsbeobachtung sind nur einige der Aktivitäten, die Ocean Beach zu bieten hat. Unser Anspruch auf Ruhm ist der Fischereipier nur ein paar Blocks südlich. Mit 1.971 Fuß soll der Ocean Beach Pier der längste Betonpier der Welt sein. Es hat eine T-Form am Ende, die sich 360 Fuß nach Süden und 193 Fuß nach Norden erstreckt. Das Südende erstreckt sich in die Point Loma Seetangbetten und bietet einen Blick auf die Gezeitenpools und die Sunset Cliffs. Ein perfekter Ort, um das Leben im Meer oder die Sonne im Meer zu beobachten.

Jeden Mittwochabend haben wir in der Stadt einen Bauernmarkt mit Live-Musik. Ocean Beach hat viele gute Restaurants, Kaffeehäuser und viele lokale Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Der Flughafen von San Diego ist nur 8 km entfernt und Flughafentransfers können arrangiert werden. this property is absolute...

this property is absolutely perfect in every way,almost on top of the lovely beach, and the area of ocean beach is just incredible, just like going back to the 1950s, so much character!! and the community is so friendly and safe ,a bus route is on the doorstep to take you to old town or downtown,nothing is to much for owners laurie & ian, we cannot wait to return !!

Perfect Beach Bungalow

My husband and I stayed at Brighton Beach Bungalows in March. I could not have imagined a more perfect place for a relaxing, fun, gorgeous vacation. Brighton Beach Bungalows felt like a home away from home. Very clean and cozy. Beach towels, beach chairs, and cruiser bikes were even available for our use! Laurie was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire reservation process. Ocean Beach was a charming little town and the nearby beach was beautiful. We loved every second we spent there. Thanks to Laurie for helping to make our vacation one we will never forget! We hope to come back one day and will certainly recommend the bungalow to our family and friends.

THE BEST

Spent 3 weeks in mid winter in the Sun bungalow. The experience is well described by all other reviewers. Everything you would need including a sewing kit that came in handy twice. There is a lovely yard adjacent to Sun bungalow which the grandchildren especially enjoyed. The 70 deg winter sunshine was delicious. Collecting shells at low tide and a favorite of the kids - a walk down the pier with hot chocolate and muffins at the end. Ian and Laurie could not be more gracious and kind. Highly, highly recommended.

So close to the beach!

This was our first time using VRBO and staying in a rental and it was amazing! All of the good reviews are true. Upon first driving up to the bungalow we couldn't believe we kept getting closer and closer to the beach. It was so fun to be able to walk to the beach whenever you want! The bungalow is great also, having a kitchen is great, and the beach chairs and cruiser bikes really make it an amazing place to stay. The one thing I would complain about and that's just cause I didn't see it in any other reviews was the air traffic noise. It just surprised us how many planes were taking off over the bungalow. But by turning on a fan at night it covered up the noise pretty well. Would definitely go back and recommend it to friends!

Okay Stay

Property location can’t be beat. Not only steps from beach but also good eats and convenience right around the corner. Also awesome that it has its own parking spot. However, the property needs a thorough cleaning. Floors were filthy. Need to be swept and cleaned with soap and water. Towels need to be replaced. Bed needs a mattress topper that is firm. Had lots of body aches from sleeping in bed. Can’t sit comfortably outside. Trees full of bugs and spider webs, porch needs to be swept and power washed. Very dusty in the air inside. Also no toilet paper or paper towels provided. I wouldn’t recommend without a serious cleaning.

Hi Kimberle, Thank you for the review. I wish you would have contacted me upon your arrival to inform me that the Bungalow was not cleaned properly. I could of had the cleaning crew return and clean the floors again. The towels were all newly purchased this April. Each renter receives fresh toilet paper and paper towels. Unfortunately I could not address these issues since I never was contacted by you during you stay. Happy to hear you enjoyed the beach.

Nice little place, If you're someone looking for a little beach time in OB, then this is right up your alley. Only a 2 minute walk to the beach!! From here you're only 5/6 blocks from Newport Ave and less than that for some good restaurants(OB Noodle House). I do have to say Thank You to Laurie!! The last couple of days on our trip it was unseasonably hot in San Diego and she was kind enough to drop off an extra fan!! Not sure how many owners would have done that!! Look forward to staying there again

Location can’t be beat!

We stay here every year to be able to walk to the beach and to town. You’ll always be in the flight pattern in OB. This house has all you need for the short 1 block walk to listen to the waves, towels, umbrella and chairs. Short walk to get BBQ or to the OB Noodle House or to get some cocktails or a great breakfast at Breakfast Republic. Or, just stay in and cook!

Great bungalow and perfect location

This was a great place to stay for myself, husband and 9 yr old. Excellent location to quickly go to the beach(with public bathrooms), good walking distance to shops and restaurants. 15 minutes to get to Seaworld , 20-25 minutes to Gaslamp quarter or SeaPort Village and a little less than an hour to Legoland. Nice outdoor patio. It’s a connected bungalow, so you could rent both for two families to stay. Garage was great since parking in OB is hard to find, my Camry fit it, but nothing bigger would. We will definitely stay here again. Only con of the location is plane noise first thing in the mornings (if you sit out side in the mornings like we always did), but it only lasts about an hour or so.

AM & PM walks on beach were delightful. OB is a friendly, walkable community. Coffee shops, People’s Outpost, restaurants, yoga all an easy walk. Kitchen setup / supplied so cooking meals is easy.

Family get-together

We met up with other family members who were visiting in San Diego and booked this unit because it was nearby where they were. We really enjoyed the neighborhood and the close proximity to everything. We walked a lot and always felt safe and there are tons of good restaurants within walking distance. The outdoor space at the unit is amazing and it is within steps of the beach. It also has a garage which is a huge plus

Location x3, needs some updates for sure

I’m not going to be the person complaining that my beach rental looked a little sun bleached, but this place def had some wear and tear, and is ready for another coat of paint. The location is fabulous- halfway between Newport (bars/shopping/food) and “dog” (the dog beach) in a very walkable community. The house had many beach accessories and amenities, alongside a gorgeous, lush yard. My concerns are over the front gate, which we were given a code for, but it is actually a cheap (kind of broken) plastic door. The lock on the door was electrical taped open, so it only needed to be pushed to open, which kind of took away the security purpose of the fence having a code. Also, the code for the actual entrance to our unit could be very easily be guessed, and the door off the kitchen didn’t lock/unlock that well, if at all. There were also some beach towels missing from the linen cabinet, but that’s a nitpick for sure. If you’re complaining about airplane noise, you probably have never been to San Diego, and the airport has an 11:30 pm curfew so it’s really nothing to freak out over. Aside from the security concerns with the gate/doors, my cousin and I had a great time at BBB and would honestly stay here again.

I have always wanted a house at the beach. Ocean Beach is such a mellow community and the weather is about as good as it gets '360' days a year. For many years we traveled back to the Midwest for a family vacation and we stayed at cabins a couple of blocks away from Lake Michigan. We loved our visits there and wanted to make our vacation rentals have the same safe, clean, comfortable feeling.

Once you park use many local bike rentals for a ride to town or check out the bike path. All the beach gear is provided backpack beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, coolers, shovel and pail. There is a beautiful patio and garden area that is very private and expands your living space. Here in California we BBq year round and there is a gas grill ready to fire up. Inside the bungalows we have games,cards, movies and free wifi internet. Everything is here for you. All you need to bring is your clothes.
