May long weekend at Georgian Bay

Outstanding location and property! 1/2 time in sun and 1/2 time with rain and still an amazing spot to have spent with family. Would recommend Ashley's property without reservations.

We had such an amazing time here. The pictures didn’t do it justice. The property was sprawling and beautiful. Rugged nature and stunning vistas from every angle on the many deck views. We enjoyed all the sunsets, the moon, shooting stars and a meteor sighting. We bbq’d almost every night and played cards in the Muskoka room while spending our days on the dock - swimming, fishing and relaxing. Many thanks to the gracious, attentive and accessible host, Ashley. Would definitely return and highly recommend.

Paradise

The photos and descriptions do not even come close to capturing this stupendous property. Every single aspect of this place is designed for pure pleasure. Yes, you may need to watch your step off the dock but be prepared for an amazing time with nightly picture perfect sunsets.

Pictures don't do it justice!

We had an amazing 2 weeks at this cottage. The pictures do not do it justice. It is large and spacious with amazing waterfront. There are multiple tiers or areas outside, so you can spread out, or all spend time together on the large dock by the waterfront. The hosts thought of everything and were very very responsive.

Ashley is a great host. Her home is gorgeous and more than enough space for 2 or a small group. Comfy beds, beautiful decor and comfy furniture added to our enjoyment. The views from this property are awesome and a great spot to watch the boats go by. We felt like we were at our favourite spot in the Caribbean sitting above the water, but just high enough. The outdoor lighting at night is a great touch and adds to the ambiance, we didn’t want to come in at the end of the night. Unfortunately swimming is a little awkward this time of year because of the water level. There was a constant breeze from the lake most of the time. Even with the haze the sunsets were stunning!I gave cleaning a 4star because we are very picky in the kitchen otherwise bathrooms and everywhere else was good.Would love to come back again! Thank you Ashley for sharing your beautiful home!

The perfect get away to Muskoka's

Because i am the first review, i want to give a detailed review as i was worried being the first to review. These worries quickly disappeared upon arrival. This cottage is exactly as the photos and video with so much more. Many places to sit around outside, the screened porch and firetable area were my favorite morning and evening hang out spots. The cottage is huge with lots of room to spread out and many areas where we all could be together. The sunsets were Incredible! Walkouts to the huge deck from every room in the cottage " really a huge house directly on the water" We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful 4 days at this "cottage" -- it is much more like a house in scale and features. The host, Ashley, was very responsive and friendly. Everything went very smoothly. There is not a lot to add to the other 10/10 reviews ... but I would like to emphasize a few things. The master bedroom is huge, but the other two primary bedrooms both have lovely views and direct deck access; there is not a bad room in the house. A wonderful place for 3 couples. It is pretty obvious from the photos, but it was only really clear to me once I got there, that the view is virtually unobstructed by other cottages. There was an incredible sense of privacy. Finally, in mid-June, the water was surprisingly warm (but still refreshing).. As it was Georgian bay, I had been expected it to be much colder. We look forward to our next visit.

Awesome Time at a Wonderful Cottage

We had an awesome time at Ashley's wonderful cottage. The place is even better than the pictures. From the time you drive up to the cottage to when you open the front doors, your breath is taken away. You feel all of the hustle and bustle of everyday life leave you. The place is fully stocked with all your daily needs........just bring food and drinks! And if you forget something, the Honey Harbour General Store and LCBO are just a 15 minute drive away. Though there is no A/C, we found the gentle breeze from Georgian Bay kept the temperatures comfortable. The huge windows bring in the spectacular views of the land and water of the property! There's a screened in porch for comfort and the many decks of the cottage provides you wonderful seating to admire the views. Oh and the sunsets are everything you'd want.........just crazy beautiful. If you like a cozy outdoor fire, the gas fire table is perfect. We made some Smores with the provided roasting sticks........yummy. If you are looking for a terrific cottage for family and friends, you won't go wrong with Ashley's place. From the terrific interior to the whimsical gardens (you'll see when you get there) surrounding the cottage, you will have a wonderful time. Thank you Ashley for providing us a great place to go to.........already looking forward to the next time.

Our property is located on two beautiful acres of waterfront on Georgian Bay. The cottage provides 2300 square feet, ample room for separation and relaxation and lots of gathering spots for the whole family to get together and enjoy at once.
Sunsets are on the top of the list of favorite things to do while relaxing on the wrap around deck or the massive cedar dock or sitting in our wonderful fully screened in Muskoka room while enjoying a glass of wine.
Kids love the downstairs where huge rock are built right inside to offer a unique sleeping set up for kids and guest alike.
