You will enjoy and appreciate the spacious open concept Condo 160 has to offer. Modern and colorful, enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with beautiful wooden finishes, breakfast bar, dinner table, and a cozy living area with a sofa and TV for a relaxing movie night after splashing in the ocean. Its floor-to-ceiling windows shower the place with natural light and peek into your spectacular private balcony, ideal for relaxing and entertaining. Enjoy the sea breeze while you sip a glass of your favorite wine and let the beach recharge you!

Condo is on a second floor, NO elevator.

Each room features 2 queen size beds, their own private bathroom with shower, a TV, ample storage for all your travel attire and one of the bedrooms has direct access to the balcony! Decorated to make you feel relaxed, you’ll get a sleep paradise and be well rested to enjoy your vacation and the many amenities Bahia Mar has to offer.
This is one of the biggest resorts on the island with 24hr security and lots of amenities to enjoy. Escape the heat by taking a deep into the two big pools with hot tubs, enjoy a good book or simply gaze and relax to the sound of the waves on the large beach deck, easy access to the beach, outdoor grill area for delicious barbecues. Pack your rackets and enjoy a tennis match on one of our two courts. Other amenities include a kid's playground. The perfect place to enjoy the vacation you deserve!

● Check in begins at 4:00 pm. Check out time is 11:00 am.
● No pets allowed.
● Rental includes two parking permits. Additional temporary parking permit may be purchased on site for an additional fee. Boats and trailers are allowed into the property for an extra fee. No R.V.'s or motor homes will be allowed on property.
● BBQ Grills: Available in the designated “Palenque” area. Perfect for a lovely outdoor meal with family or friends. 2 Burner BBQ Grill: $40.00 and 4 Burner BBQ Grill: $50.00
● Great island activities include: Off-site bird- and turtle-watching, Beach four-wheeling, Horseback riding, Laguna Madre Nature trail. Walking on the island is also a lot of fun!
● Our rental properties are family oriented. Good behavior is expected from our guests, respect for property rules and other guests. No parties allowed. Minimum age to rent is 21 and must be present during the entire stay.
● We kindly request that guests respect the Resort/HOA rules. Failure to comply with their house policies is grounds for eviction from the property and/or fines vary depending on these rules. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Not As Advertised
We rent VRBO's a lot—and do so due to the attention to details most owners provide. This is the first time we mistakenly booked a location that was part of what appeared to be a time-share owner (co-owner) community. Because of this, communication was limited and lacked any real sense of urgency between us and property managers/automated systems/associates. Property was basic—much more dated than pictures depicted. Bathroom toilet seat was too big for the toilet, shower heads in both baths where not adjustable to a comfortable pressure, and basic amenities such as coffee, ice maker/trays, extra towels were not available. Bath sink was clogged and drained really slowly. The bed spreads were paper thin and when we finally had enough we called a few numbers and finally reached someone who had a random person drop off a brand new walmart blanket (just one)—there were four beds. After requesting three full sets of towels for the 2nd time, housekeeping (I assume) finally showed up with only three big towels; not the full sets requested. The living room was not conducive to relaxing with our group. An uncomfortable small futon only sat 1-2 people comfortably and no foot rest or room to lounge. Towel hooks and door knobs still had painters tape on them, and the unit looked as it if it was being renovated. Again, if you want relaxing and personable accommodations—this is not the place. Even worse we had to wear wristbands like we were in a club or at a party our entire stay—only to encounter staff at the beach front and front gate that were not really attentive to who entered the property. This was advertised, but felt worse than imagined. However, the front gate was well attended; as if you were entering a compound.

Better than expected
The hot tub wasn't working for the first part of the trip. Considering it was 60s, cloudy and WINDY, a hot tub was the most important part of the stay. Good thing they had two. We lived in it. Eventually they fixed the other hot tub and all was good. The only thing we would have changed is the weather.

Great place!
Great place and very spacious! Only problem we had was we couldn't have visitors unless the had a bracelet, I'm assuming it was for crowd control on spring break. Would definitely stay here again!
