We recognize that the maintenance concerns and unexpected power outages affected your experience. The power interruptions were related to a neighborhood outage and were outside of our control. Accurate amenity information is important when planning a stay. The disc swing was removed for safety reasons, and the outdated elevator photo has since been removed from the listing to help ensure the details provided are accurate. From the Owner: Hello Danielle! I’m saddened to hear about the barbecue—it was brand new, purchased just two months ago at the beginning of the season. As for the floors, I’ll definitely follow up with housekeeping. They were just installed in February of this year, so there shouldn’t be any residue.Regarding the water situation, I’m fully aware—it’s an ongoing issue with the City of Surfside Beach, and they are working to resolve it. I also make sure to inform all guests in the welcome text to bring bottled water."
